Yeah, we received our tags and magic bands. Is there something I need to do with them first, perhaps?

yes. Look on the tags for the number that starts with a 4.

there should be a number on the back of the magic bands, near the name, try that number. This should be the same number as on the tags.

there is a number but it starts with a 1 and when I try it on the site it doesn't work.

Second option. Go to MDE in the full option (not app). Click on the link for your magic bands. There should be a confirmation number associated with them. Use that.

I haven't seen anyone post this problem before, -every time I try to get in to check ,I put in my reservation number and name and I keep getting "Guest is already registered" and I can't get any further.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Just hit cancel. It will take you to a log in page. Log in with your disney account info and it will take you to the page to select a day for the BOG fp+.

Assuming you are within 60 days - there's another way
Go to MDE on a computer (tablet/phone might be different), then go to My reservations. Or go here: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/trip/my-vacation/

You should see an option for 'check in online' - if you hover over it you should see a link which will include your resort room reservation number. You can right click and copy the link. That's the number you want to use to register for BOG FP+

Finally, you should note that BOG FP+ expects the primary person on the reservation to set this up.

I'm able to personalize my MB today... so I took that confirmation number (starts with a 4) and was able to create a new account using that number... and then get into the BOG lunch site... yay! Then our dates showed up... and I thought "YES! We're IN!"... but then no FP's were available....

We are going in January... please tell it is just that we are going in January and they haven't opened it up yet!!!

They haven't opened up yet. As far as I can tell they have just opened through the end of November. Lots of (semi) patient people waiting on December still.

We're at WDW at the moment and have 9 days to go - it's annoying that the window for BoG FP+ only shows the next 7 days - it's advancing a day at a time.

Don't understand why if some people can book for end of November, we can't book for next Friday!

In here 8 days but have 6 day tickets. It only allows me to select the first 6 days of my stay.

I have a question about the fast pass for this and pre selecting your meals. I have a fast pass for our trip and I preselected our meals because I had to, but I really wanted to wait until I got there mainly because I do not want mayo on my sandwich. My question is can we order when we get there or will they automatically know what we ordered and send us on to a table. Will we have a choice?

you should be able to log back in and customize the meals using the modify function. I changed all the meals (6) for 2 reservations last month; took off may, red sauce for the kids...

FP+ for BOG is still a test. I believe its been set to allow guests to make a reservation for only the first 7 days of their vacation.

If you book a FP+ for lunch, that is one of your three selections for the day, correct?? Can anyone comment on whether this FP+ option has had an effect on the standby line (is it moving slower)? Again, if I am repeating a previous question, I am sorry!

I have an AP now - converted from a UK 14 day Ultimate while we were here. The Ultimate would have expired on our last day but obviously that issue doesn't arise with the AP.

Have you tried talking with the concierge at your resort to see if they can help you book? I've seen others mention on the boards that they have been able to get a BOG FP+ ressie that way. Some people have said they can't though, so no guarantees, but might be worth a try instead of waiting.
