BOG kids menu question

I have a QS lunch reservation at BOG and want to order ahead but am a bit confused by the menu

My son is super picky. I am thinking of ordering the whole grain macaroni and it gives the option of either choosing mozarella cheese and sauce or not.

My question: does the cheese come on top of the pasta or on the side? Is there any way on the online order to ask for it on the side?

One of my girls had this a few months ago. The macaroni, cheese, and sauce all came in separate little dishes. So she added as much sauce and cheese as she wanted to. Worked perfectly.
