BOG ADR's?

Hi all,

My ADR date is Monday and the past couple of days I have just been doing some dummy bookings on the precious dates available so I can ensure MDE is working for me :)

However everytime I log on at 11am there is never any BOG dinner times available - is it still that popular they are selling out within a couple of minutes? Or do I need to call for that ADR?

Thanks very much :)

They get snapped up very quickly. Your best strategy (is this for onsite in September?) is to

(1) Make sure you are logged in on MDE. If you are inactive on that page for more than 5 minutes or so it leaves you showing as logged in but not really. This is important to be able to use the +10

(2) Pick a date as far to the end of the first 10 days as possible as there are fewer people able to book as far out.

Being flexible with times helps too.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Are you staying on site? I got a BOG reservation towards the end of our 180 + 10. It's still a difficult one to get but cancellations do come up!

Also party size can be an issue - I had trouble getting a reservation for 3 but upped it to 4 and had my pick of times.

How many are you looking to book for?

I did my ADR's yesterday. I can tell you from what I have seen, you will not get BOG at 180. I have been looking every morning for weeks and its gone at 180. But yesterday I booked my ADR's and I couldn't get it until I got to 6 days into our trip, and even then, the times were 9:00pm or later. I finally got 6:40 on the LAST day of our 10 day trip.

If u book an extra person do they charge you if only three turn up. Just curious

Never been to bog and didnt even cross my mind in feb when we were there. How come its so popular? Should i make sure i book next time?

Thanks for your help and tips - I will bear this in mind for Monday :) I will have a look at the plan tonight and be more flexible for every evening :)

I am so can book 180+10. I will be flexible and go straight for the last day of our trip and work backwards I think...

Only 2 of us - maybe that is the problem? From all the pictures and videos I have seen they do look like family style/bigger tables for 4 + and limited smaller tables around the edges.

Thanks for your help, I am staying onsite so will do 180+10 on Monday. As mentioned above, I think I will go straight to the 10th/11th day and work backwards from there, not go for the first date available on the calendar.

They won't charge if at least someone turns up for the reservation. We have booked for 4 more than once (we are a party of 3) as we have been able to get better times.

As for BOG I am in the minority but I didn't think it was anything special. i thought it was very expensive for very average food and service. We won't be back again.

I would try for party of 2 or 4 and see what you can get. I did get my inlaws a booking for 2 quite easily in July however I wouldn't mind betting as September is traditionally US free dining time that most have reservations to book their ADRs in the hope of free dining being released thus making it more difficult to get those converted ADRs ;)

We had no problem getting an ADR for 2 at BOG, but we are arriving at WDW two days before the FD window for US guests opens up, so we weren't fighting with that crowd for reservations. (We got one for ours at 180+2).

Good luck and pixiedust:

We got a reservation at BoG at 180 days but time options were very limited. We wouldn't normally eat at 4.30 in the afternoon but it was all we could get, so we've bit the bullet and took it.

Just keep checking every day, even though it's a pain in the backside to keep doing that. You may get lucky.

Well I got 2 ADR's for BOG! I am sooo happy! My BF was ready at work at 11am bang on and his work has super fast fibre so he managed to get one for near enough the end of our 180+10 and then another one for our first MK day! Sooo excited!

We got everything else we wanted too and just have to book the final remaining 4 days over the next couple of days :)

Probably of no use to you now (and not really relevant anyway, but worth people bearing in mind when making bookings).

Online reservations for dining open up at 6am Florida time (which has been 10am UK time for the last couple of weeks) which might explain why, at 11am, you have not been able to find anything. Hopefully, with the clocks having gone forward yesterday and us now being 5 hours ahead again, you will have been able to secure a booking at 11am this morning :thumbsup2

ETA: Just seen that you got your ADR - great news :)

Thank you for your help anyway - we did realise but it may help others as well who stumble upon this thread :)

Just for anyone else - if there are no ADRs then hopefully a lunch FP+ is still possible as a last resort. I'm hoping to grab one!

I just managed a 8:30pm ressie for a party of 2 at 11:03 this morning, for 180 + 2 days.

They still go quick it seems..

Glad you got one too - yeah I think they have all gone again now and we have the benefit of staying onsite and the 180+10! Would never have got one otherwise!

We got ours at 180 days on Saturday, for three at 5.30 p.m. Pleased with that, didn't get offered many options but this would be our first choice anyway.

Yeah lunch is definitely another option - we will still do lunch with our dinner ADR. I really wanted to do both as dinner is a actual table service/sit down meal etc.

We were happy to take anything we got in the end even if it meant tweaking the plan! *faints* :)

If anyone is looking for the lunchtime BOG FP bookings, MAY is now open, managed to book lunch for Mother's Day 11th of May
