bobcats in central MA

anyone else hearing them in the middle of the night? At least I believe they are bobcats. Heard others in town have heard them too. Sound almost like "babies crying"

We've heard foxes and coyotes, but I don't believe we've heard bobcats in/near the residentail areas........

just surprised as our backyard has a buffer area then there's somebody elses backyard - we can see their house when the trees arent filled in

Wow! That would be really scary! We have coyotes altho I haven't heard them lately. When they get going at night it gets downright spooky! We also have turkeys and they come out with strange noises. Down the road a bit is the zoo and if you hear the peacocks they sound as if someone is getting murdered!

But the scariest noise around here is when my kids get to fighting.....
