Boatwrights recently

So I asked over a year ago and never made it. Anyone been to Boatwrights lately?
My first trip ever to Disney World many years ago we stayed there and I was just amazed by everything and we ate there twice I thought it was so good. Well fast forward many years we went shortly after reopening and it wasn’t great. Now I didn’t expect much from any restaurant after reopening and I have such nostalgia for the place that maybe my expectations were skewed

Has anyone been there recently?

Was there back in Dec and still the same good food. Shrimp and grits or Taste of the Bayou are my favs. Always leave room for beignets afterwards next door at French Quarter.

Allears.net just did a review which was posted yesterday and it was all very favorable.

We were there about a year or so ago. I got the steak (which was very good), but the standout is the French Onion soup. It was outstanding. We didn't care much for the vegan version of jambalaya; it had no flavor/seasoning at all. Service was above average.

We were there end of May this year. I don't care for much of what's on the menu there but my husband and daughter does. Husband order the all you can eat and he really liked it. Daughter and I ordered jambalaya. Had a lot of sausage in it and very little of anything else (chicken and rice). For me, it was just okay.
