Boat to MK on an 8AM opening?

We will be there this Saturday and Sunday the opening for MK has been changed to 8AM.
Will the boat get us there for the opening show?
Does anyone know what time the boats will start running.

The boats will start running about 1 hour before opening. Plenty of time to see the show!

We were just there last week and found out that the boat was starting morning trips to MK at 8:30 for a 9am opening. I thought the guest who told me that was wrong so I asked the CM driving the boat and he said it starts at 8:30.

I'm sure it will start earlier for an early morning park opening but not sure if it will be a full hour before opening like the previous poster said.

Boats begin running 30 minutes prior to the park opening. So 7:30 a.m. for 8 a.m. open. 8:30 a.m. for 9 a.m. open. Or 4:30 a.m. for a 5 a.m. open.

If you really want to get there in time consider taking the blue flagged boat to the Contemporary and from there walking to the Magic Kingdom. They begin running at 6:45 a.m.

We've taken the boat many times to make the opening ceremony and have never had a problem. Have Fun
