Anyone know how often the obat runs from here? If we are planning on breakfast can we park here and go to MK or do we need to park at MK? No flaming-I know there is a big debate on parking where you don't stay but I didn't know if this is one of the big no-nos!

I would just park at the MK and then you don't have to worry about how often the boat runs. I think the monorail and boat run more often.

You have to check in with the security guard before parking at WL. They may limit your time to park there. We stayed at WL so we used another lane that had card key access and we had a parking pass for the duration of our stay.

Does it ever fill up so fast that you have to wait for the next one? Is it a large boat? I would imagine there must be tons of people waiting in the morning to get the boat to the MK and TTC.

::yes:: Yes there are mornings that the launchs do reach full capacity, because it is shared by Wilderness Lodge, Ft. Wilderness Campground, and The Villas of Wilderness Lodge so you can see that extra people not staying at these Resorts would effect the wait even more. Not sure what you mean about waiting to go to TTC the boats from The Wilderness Lodge don't go to the TTC.

If you are going to park at another resort to eat you are given a pass of 3 hours. I just did this in about 4 different resorts when I went to look at them to see if I wanted to saty there. So if you are planning on being there longer then 3 hours...you cant park there.

Tell me if I'm wrong. I picture loads of people waiting to get the boat over to MK on the EE morning. You get to the launch and there's so many people that you don't get on the boat. Then you have to wait another 20 mins., etc. How long does it take to get a boat during a busy time?

If the boat queue is too long, you can always take the smaller launch to the Contemporary. From there you can walk to the MK.

We never had a problem during our Sept trip. Can't say about a busier season.

If the large boat does fill, I'd just hop on the smaller boat going to CR and take the monorail or walk from there.

If you do have to wait for another boat, the wait really isn't long.

I'd just park in the main MK parking lot. If you're an onsite guest it won't cost you anything and even if your not, your past the point where they collect for parking so you can just loop around back into the main MK lot for free. That's a lot better than worrying about whether your car is going to be there when you get back.

One more quick fact there is also a bus that runs from The Wilderness Lodge to the TTC where you could also ride the Monorail around to the MK.

While the large boat (launch) can be crowded I have never had to wait on a second boat. Except last December when going to MVMCP but Disney was right on top of it they sent one of the large Ferryboats from TTC everyone loaded in a few minutes and we were on our way.
