Boat from MGM to Boardwalk??

We are thinking of leaving MGM to eat at Spoodles. Of all the times I've been to MGM, I can't for the life of me figure out where to catch the boat. In fact, I didn't even know there WAS a boat from MGM. So where do you get on?? Thanks!

As you exit MGM just keep to the left and you'll see the ramp leading down to the dock. If you have kids with you bring quarters and they can get food from the machine to feed the ducks - a good way to pass the time if you have to wait a few minutes but we've never had to wait much more than that.

As you exit MGM, instead of bearing right or straight for the busses, you bear left for the boat dock.

You can also walk from MGM to the Boardwalk if the line for the boat is too long. You exit MGM and head towards the buses. When you get to the bus info booth bear towards the bus stops on your left. As you walk along the bus stops, you will come to a path on your left that runs down to the water's edge. Just take this path to the BW. It is about a 10-15 minute walk and very pleasant if the weather is not too hot. After Fantasmic, you will see a lot of people taking this path back to the BW as the line for the boat is outrageous. We actually walked three-quarters of the way back to the BW before the boat that was at the dock left.
The boat does stop at the Swan/Dolphin, then the YC/BC, and finally at the BW before heading to EPCOT, so you can actually get to the BW much faster if you walk.

The trip from BWI to MGM takes about 25 minutes on average.

When there are 3 boats operating, about every 18-20 minutes (usually morning and early afternoon). With four boats running, about every 15 minutes.

We stayed at the Boardwalk last week and were too tired to walk so we hopped on the Friendship boat. If you are in a hurry get off the boat at the Swan/Dolphin and it is an easy walk to the Boardwalk area where Spoodles is located. You will always get to the Boardwalk faster than the boat if you get off and walk from there.
