We are wanting to visit the Board Walk after we visit Epcot and we are planning on walking there. We are planning on leaving our car parked at Epcot. If we stay at the Boardwalk Inn past Epcot's closing time, how do we make it back to our car?

Thanks!

Just take the bus or boat from BW to Epcot main gate.
Unfortunately, there are no buses or boats from the Crescent Lake resorts to Epcot's main gate.:)

OP,I would just go ahead and move the car from Epcot to the Boardwalk lot.

Honestly I think you'd need to take the bus to MK, then the monorail to Epcot parking!
Is there a bus to Epcot from Boardwalk? I would think not because the boat launch is the transportation.

You should just park by Boardwalk at the start of your day.

My best advice = taxi.

If you leave through the International Gateway from Epcot and walk to or ride a friendship to the Boardwalk, you need to return to Epcot when it is open if you want to walk through it to your car.

You could go toyour car and drive to Boardwalk and park, but that can be dicey depending on parking conditions at the BW.

Taking a bus to the MK and then riding the monorail back will not work depending on how late you stay at the BW. It is my understanding that the monorail only runs 1 hour past the park closing time.

I checked and there is no bus from BW to Epcot.

AI do not remember if there is a bus from BW to Epcot, but again, they may not be running when you want to leave.

DEFINITELY no bus from the Crescent Lake resorts to Epcot(or DHS-unless the boats are "grounded" by weather).:)

Parking at BW can be very limited.

I'd just visit the BW earlier when convenient when you are near the IG, and then return while the park is still open.

You can park at a resort for up to three hours while enjoying the amenities (e.g., shopping, eating, looking at decorations, etc.) of that resort. So, you cannot park at the BW at the start if your Epcot day. You can move your car to the BW when you've finished at Epcot.

Alternatively, you can park at DHS and then take the boat to Epcot. After finishing up at the BW you can walk back to DHS' parking lot. The boats stop running to DHS 1 hour after the park closes.

Depending on where you are staying, it might be easiest to take the bus to Epcot, then a taxi back to your resort. There are taxis in front of the BWI until after Jellyrolls closes.

Stay at the Boardwalk as long as you like and take a quick taxi ride back to your car.

You won't be able to re-enter Epcot gates after closing.
There are no buses from resort to resort, if staying on Disney property.
The Boardwalk parking lots would probably be full.
You could get a taxi to return you to your car in the Epcot lot.

Alternate plan. If you are staying at a Disney resort, first take the bus to Epcot. Don't drive your car that day.
After visiting the Boardwalk --
-- take a taxi back to your resort.
or,
-- take a bus from Boardwalk Inn to DTD. At DTD, take a bus to your resort.

Or any bus/boat to a park that is still open, and then from there to resort. If DHS is still open (or recently closed), you could even walk to DHS to catch the bus. We actually walked to DHS from BW to get a bus to the Poly for dinner.

Mini-rant about parking at BW - The "Guest" lot the signs point you to (on the left nearest BW as you pull in) has VERY limited parking because they've given over most of it to Valet Parking - about 80% of it - or at least they did the past couple of weeks. The signs don't make it clear how to get in to the lot on the right, or parking in the sections closer to the guard house. Even the closest lot is a bit of a hike to be carrying groceries by yourself. And later in our stay even what was left was closed off.

I wondered why so many spaces were given to Valet, until the night of the 4th...around 8pm, there was a LONG line of cars in the driveway waiting for valet parking, and the valets were running back and forth between the entrance and the lot. I assume it was all people who wanted parking for Illuminations on the 4th...

Where does the bus from boardwalk to Epcot drop me off?

There is no bus from BW to Epcot, unless the Friendship boats are grounded. In that case, I assume it would take you to the front entrance.

The Friendship boats take you to the International Gateway entrance, between the UK and France in the World Showcase.

You would walk or take the ferry to the International Gateway ( around the British section of World Showcase).

Disregard, my mistake, I thought you were addressing the OP

I think the OP is asking about what to do when Epcot has closed.

The reply was to a different poster who asked where the bus from BW to Epcot drops off (which as stated doesn't exist).
