Boardwalk Villas - Best 2BR view?

We are going to BWV this weekend. We have a 2BR and a Studio, both with Garden/Pool View (Preferred view)

We've never been to BWV, so have no clue as to the layout of the place/rooms etc.

Most of our time will be at the parks, with only a little time by the pool. We don't plan on getting up early and sitting on a porch/balcony or staying in and watching fireworks from the room either.

That being said, what is the best view/type of room to get? We're getting there on the earlier side, so I think that we'll have a bit of an advantage that way.

Are any rooms better than others? We would like the 2BR and Studio to be near each other and I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

Thanks!

Lawrence

There are advantages and disadvantages to all the room views. Boardwalk view can be noisey at night. Preffered pool views can be noisey during the day. All are beautiful in there own right. Also when checking in I don't believe you can request a specific room......also views are booked so you can't be booked for a prefferred view and request a boardwalk view at check in. Well I suppose you could.....you never know.

Chances are, your rooms have already been assigned. If you call the Boardwalk directly, you might be able to make a request (if you hadn't already).

The top floor might be an all-around safer bet if you can request it.

I think that I would stick with the last part as my primary request....to be near each other. By doing that, you give the room assigner a lot more options than asking for a specific area and also the rooms to be near each other.

I agree with Granny. BWV tends to preassign and if being close to each other is important, it's best to ask for that. That'a a pretty big challenge as it is.

IMHO, there really aren't any bad preferred views at the BWV unless you are one of those who are afraid of clowns.

The boardwalk view rooms are the best, but those are guaranteed, so you can't get those. However, my DD got a Tower of Terror view room on the 5th(?) floor that was wonderful! It was high enough to be above the noise of the pool, and it looked directly at Tower of Terror. :)
