Boardwalk Question

We currently have a reservation for a 2 bedroom unit at the VWL for 10/16 - 10/23 and were thinking about changing our reservation to perferred view at the Boardwalk Villas. We thought we would try the BWV's since we have never stayed there. Anyone have any idea how good our chances are at this point?

Chances at 4 months out during F&W? Probably iffy - but you never know!

But - BWV is a good place to be in Oct if you plan to spend a lot of time at Epcot. If you want to try it out - I say go for it tomorrow!

Your best shot will be preferred view. I would be surprised if standard or BW views are available. But GOOD LUCK!

Since you're asking for a BWV preferred view and not a Boardwalk or standard view room you might have a chance, as others have said it's worth the phone call.

BTW: We did W&F last fall and I'd recommend trying to stay away from it on the weekends, it was really crowded, probably a lot of locals come out for it.

I called this past week and there were no 1BR's at either BW or BC for 10-19 - 10-23.

Not sure about 2 BR availability, but we had to go with OKW and wait list BW. Not that that's a bad thing. We stayed at OKW in April for the first time and fell in love with it. If the F+W wasn't going on we would probably stay at OKW anyway!

We will be there the same time as you and we are currently on the "wait list" for BWV 2-BR (any view available). We jumped on it in March (7 months out). We already have a OKW booked but we just love the BW so we thought we'd give it a shot. IMHO, all the views at the BW are good
