But seriously, we've stayed there a few times in the last year and find it enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and have recently been redone (within the last 2 years). The rooms facing the quiet pool are very quiet and one time we had a view of the Illuminations. Our last trip we had a room over FF. Loved going on the balcony in the evenings to watch the entertainment on the BW.
thank you, i am trying to get a waterview room over the boardwalk. A yr ago we booked the Yacht Club (our absolute favorite!) and have been overly excited to go back there since it's been 8 yrs. but with just finding out on Monday about the pool partially closed (best parts) we decided to change resorts I am still waiting for Disney to call with the specifics of our room. We want nothing less than what we had at the YC. Room for 5 with a water view and great view! I wish they'd call already! My concern with the BW is their pool, it looks very small.
You already know how great the area is. The Boardwalk resort is just as relaxing. If it is in your budget you can be guaranteed a Boardwalk view by booking a deluxe concierge room. The view is awesome. Boardwalk also has a quiet pool if needed.
yes we definitely wanted Epcot area and planned my week and meals around being there, but seeing our trip is in just 3 days doesn't leave us much for availability. We can't afford a suite but want equal to what we had booked at the YC. I'm just hoping we are happy with the BW in comparison to the YC
One great place to stay. Like sfbank stated if you get the chance to upgrade to CL, you won't be disappointed. We will be at the BWI-CL in 2 wks for trip #2 this year. Try out the quiet pool, very relaxing. Make it a point to watch the nightly entertainers around the boardwalk.
I stayed in a BW view and a garden/pool view. While the BW view was nice to do once, I did really enjoy the peaceful garden view more. Staying at BW is so convenient, you can't go wrong! The walk to HS or EP is wonderful!
thanks for the positive input. I just found out we have a room w/large balcony overlooking boardwalk which is what we wanted. The gardens do look beautiful there too but for first time I'd prefer to be where the action is while in the room.

I agree. This past trip was the first time we weren't able to pull off a Boardwalk view. We were surprisingly happy with our Garden view. As you said, very peaceful and absolutely beautiful area. Now it doesn't matter to us either way.
looking forward to that view opinions on the pool - Is it small? Crowded? And it looks like there's not much for clothing storage in the room (5 people)
