First time being booked here and we are in a standard room. We like quiet rooms. Is the best chance for that the rooms past the club lounge? Has anyone here ever stayed in the room next to the lounge? Curious about noise levels. Thanks in advance!

We stayed in a room right next to the lounge last August. No noise came in from the outside at all. The rooms are very sound tight in my opinion

We have stayed directly across from the lounge numerous times without any issues. This past January we stayed in the room right next door closest to the staff podium. We never heard any noise from the lounge. Once is a blue moon, you may hear them bringing the cart to and from the lounge with supplies.

Make that three...we have stayed in rooms in that vicinity too and not heard anything..
I would say tho that farther down the hallway past the lounge has less foot traffic than the rooms between the lounge and the entry/congierge desk and security doors...

Can anyone give me some advice please?:) We are staying for our honeymoon this coming October and we have a Deluxe Club Level room booked.. I have read there are some rooms on the third and some on the fourth. Can anyone give me a recommendation for a room/floor? I read the third floor rooms have larger balconies but I figured the rooms on the fourth floor would be nicer because there higher up! Thank you in advance! :)

Honestly, and before this last trip I would have NEVER expected to say this, consider the Cottages.
They gifted us an upgrade from a regular Garden View room to a Cottage for our Anniversary. We'd stayed CL several times before and I'd tried and tried to book it for our stay and it was sold out. So I was beyond excited to get CL again. Even though the Cottages had never appealed to me before. Separate from the lounge, 2 stories, outside entrance, etc. Well, we loved it! And I mean, really loved it. For something like a Honeymoon or Anniversary they are ideal. Which is why they upgraded us.
The Cottages are slightly more than the Deluxe rooms but the privacy is really worth it. You don't hear a peep from anyone. We sat out on our private patio several evenings enjoying an adult beverage too.
We never needed it but they even give you a huge umbrella to use to walk up to the main building in case it's raining.
I know it doesn't quite answer your question but I had to share my thoughts on a room I would have never considered otherwise. We loved it so much I think we are booking one again for our July 4th stay.

Interesting info! Would you have any outdoor pix to share? Also, these Garden Cottages seem to be available for discounts too. Do all of them have 1/2 baths on the lower level?

Yes, they have a half bath downstairs and a full bath up. The shower and toilet upstairs is separate from the tub and sink area.
Downstairs they even have a microwave, which can come in very handy.

These are the pics from around our cottage.

Those cottages are SO cute; i would love to stay in one someday. But we rarely go without the kids so it won't work for us. Maybe the fact that only two people can stay there keeps them quieter, since rarely would a child be there.

We have a standard club level room booked next month and I want to put in my room request. Do all of these rooms have a pull-down bed? We really want two queens and a pull-down. Also, do any standard rooms have any view of the Boardwalk at all?

Happen to have had a conversation about "Standard" category with the staff yesterday.
They have changed category designations at BWI
If you notice, there is no Water or Boardwalk view in CL. Only Deluxe and Standard. We even looked at the Rack Rate sheet. Sure enough, there isn't a rack rate for Water/Boardwalk View CL either.
Well, there are non-Deluxe, Water, or Boardwalk View CL rooms. They all fall in the Standard category. Basically there are just 2, 3 if you count the cottages, categories of CL rooms
Standard, 2 beds
Deluxe, which has the sitting room
Cottages
So to answer your question, you can request Water/Boardwalk view. That's the only way to get them. They are not a bookable category now.

Interesting. I remember when I booked the room i wanted Boardwalk view but I didn't see it as an option. I guess because it's not! I guess I will have to request it. Thanks, @AngiTN!

Hearing the news about the Boardwalk view now leads me to my next question. How noisy are those rooms. Are you able to see any fireworks from those rooms? Thanks for all the help!

Not noisy until you open the door
Really little to no fireworks view unless you look far to the right. The angle is wrong. Epcot is to the right of the resort

Our room at BWI-CL was between the door to the club level rooms/area and the lounge = high traffic area, and we were on the side of the boardwalk. That said, no noise problems at all with the exception of hearing the occasional boat honk before 10p.

I wonder if you were there the same time as we were, because we got the exact same upgrade for our trip from April 8-15! We also booked a regular (non-CL) garden view room, and were upgraded to room 1206, which is one of the cottages with no garden in front but a large balcony upstairs. We were told we were getting the upgrade because they were out of the room category we booked, but the trip also happened to be for our 24th wedding anniversary. It was such an incredible and unexpected surprise because in 23 trips to WDW over the past 25 years, we have never gotten a room upgrade of any kind. I was beyond shocked and ecstatic!! I totally agree with your review...ZERO noise from other rooms, and we were just across from the quiet pool, which was heavenly to come back and relax to every day, especially since there was rarely anyone there. We kept saying that it felt like our own personal backyard pool! The first night after we got back from the parks, we had a message waiting that we had a delivery waiting...a few minutes later sparkling white wine and truffles arrived, along with a card congratulating us on our 24th anniversary. I'm pretty sure it was the CL CM who escorted us to our room who sent it to us, because I never told them about the anniversary when I called to make our reservation (I'm shy about being made a fuss over). But the CL CM was super friendly and chatty and asked us why we were visiting this time, and I let my guard down a little and told him because he grew up about an hour from the little southern town I grew up in, so I felt very comfortable with him, lol. Anyway, that little surprise and the cottage were just heavenly and made our first kid-free trip to WDW since 2000 absolutely magical! I too HIGHLY recommend the cottages!

Also: we actually ended up checking out on April 16 because there was a huge snowstorm back home and our flight was cancelled. The CL CM in the lounge took care of it for us...he called and asked if we could stay an extra night due to the storm situation, and we were granted an extra day (we told him we'd change rooms if they wanted us to). When he said we could stay in the same room I was sweating bullets that we'd be charged rack rate for the room ($$$), but when we got our final accounting we were so pleasantly surprised to see that we were charged the same AP garden view rate that we'd paid for the rest of the stay. We were granted so much pixie dust on this stay, and we'll be forever grateful! :)

Sweet. Your trip was just before ours. We checked in last Saturday, the 21st, one week ago now. Trip went so fast

Thank you so much for your advice! I did consider those actually but as much as the space would be amazing I’m a big water-view guy hence why I went with the deluxe room! Thank you again and maybe we’ll have to try those in the future!

We have stayed on both floors and prefer fourth floor just because it is closer to the lounge. The fourth floor balconies are big enough for us for as much as we are out there. The view is great no matter what!
Thanks for the advice!
