Boardwalk availability

We just cancelled our November trip and extended our January trip to 9 nights. We are staying at our VWL, but are considering splitting our stay up and also staying at BWV. Does anyone know if it is tough to get in at BWV at the 7 month window during marathon weekend? We thought it may be a more convenient location since hubby's running the marathon. Also, which unit is easiest to get at this time of year? We'd prefer a one bedroom with a standard view, but would take a studio or 2 bedroom preferred view if that's all we could get.

Hi there!! I know that getting an initial ressie at BWV is tough...even with the seven month window. BUT--I think you can do if you are patient enough to waitlist. Last week DH suggested we plan a spur of the moment trip down so we booked half of our stay at VERO (our home) and the other half at OKW (that was what was available) and we waitlisted at BWV. I called them today and they had one available. The wait list really works-- I mean, if it works with only 1 week away from a trip like for us, surely it would work for 7 months in advance for you.

You don't have much to lose if you book somewhere and then waitlist. January is pretty quiet I say, even with the marathon--it's not like going at christmas or easter. Good luck!!!
