We are visiting in May and were hoping to go one night to the board walk to see the JellyRolls Piano show. If Epcot closes at 9:00PM and Jellyrolls is open until 1:30AM what are the chances we will be able to use Disney transportation back to POFQ??

Will there still be busses or do we need a cab. No Car rental this trip.

THere should be a late bus that goes from BW to the other resorts. I haven't taken it, but I understand it is there. If it were me, I would just use a cab...that's what my friend and I did in Dec, leaving JR's and heading back to POP. But, it wasn't all that late then, only about 11ish.

I hadn't though about cabs until I saw posts here. How much to they wack you for a cab ride around the park? I thought I read it was over $50 to get over to Universal from the resorts.

The only way to use Disney transportation would be to go from one of the Boardwalk area resorts to DTD and then to POFQ. I would check what time the latest bus leaves DTD that night and plan to be at DTD in plenty of time. The better option would be taxi.

There is a late bus from the Boardwalk to DTD/PI where you can connect to the final buses of the evening to the different resorts. I don't know about bus service directly from Boardwalk to resorts although I do recall reading of bus drivers on slow nights asking those getting on where they're ultimately headed and then dropping them off directly w/o going to DTD.

Atlantic Dance Hall is right across from Jellyrolls and it closes around 1:45am (1am if the place is dead) so there are patrons from there too getting on the Boardwalk to DTD/PI bus.

Depends on where you're going. If you want to get from YC/BC to POP, it's less than $10, but if you want to get from POR to AKL, it's going to be more.
Yes, it will cost about $50 to get to US from just about anyplace at WDW...be it be cab or car service.

I know that when I was there last month, there were folks at Jellyrolls who were planning on using Disney buses, from BW, to get back to their resorts. And they weren't talking about heading to DTD. Since I was only going to POP, it didn't make sense for me to do that. Can I be 100% sure? No, but that's because I didn't do it myself.

Can anyone confirm this?
Yep, this is true. I've done this a number of times after leaving Jellyrolls. If the bus is at the Boardwalk bus stop, it'll say DTD. Both times I was asked by the driver where I was headed and told him which resort. Then they took me directly to that resort. One time I left JRs earlier (10:30ish) and there was no bus. I waited for about 10 minutes, then opted for a cab ride which was about $10 to both Pop (and OKW on a different occasion).

Thanks Barb. I was hoping one of you JRs people would be along to let us know.

Just this past December, I was on the late night bus from Boardwalk. (Walked over there after the DisaPalooza TSM party). (This was about 1:30 am).

There were several of us there and the bus driver asked us where we were going. I was going to Fort Wilderness. Some were going to Pop, some were going to POFQ and POR, and one person was going to DTD to walk to Hotel Plaza Boulevard.

The Pop folks were dropped off directly, then the bus stopped at DTD. I was then taken to Fort Wilderness by van. The POFQ and POR folks were dropped off directly after the DTD stop.

While on the bus, all of the radio traffic was to coordinate getting the late night folks back to their respective resorts by any means necessary.

Absolutely correct. At that hour, it's all about getting guests home. If you were staying at one of the All Stars and another guest was at AKL and a third was at POP then I would go to AKL, AS and then POP. Things might have been different on ClKelley's night if there were guests going to WL, FW, POR and POP. It might have been the POP guests getting the van ride from DTD and all others getting dropped off by bus.
