Boarding Passes!!!!

Okay,

We checked in online for our flight tomorrow with AA.
Everyone elses boarding cards printed except for, guess who, me!

It said we were checked in but there was a problem printing my boarding card. Should I be worried?! :/

Yes, give them a ring so you can at least get some sleep tonight. The online check in system does not require boarding passes to be printed. Do you have confirmation that yours was accepted in the system when you did it? If so they will be able to retrieve it when you do the bag drop tomorrow. They usually issue the proper stubs there anyway.

You can check in without printing out boarding cards and should be able to retrieve it tomorrow at the self scan

Don't worry as long as it says you are booked in then it will be fine. We never bother to print ours off until we get to the airport we have bags to check in anyway so we just do it before that.

I am sure if you call them it will be fine have a fantstic holiday.

You'll be fine.

Most -if not all- airlines will actively offer their customers the choice of printing or not printing their boardingpass while doing OLCI. That option in and of itself says enough; no need for the boardingpass to be printed at home. Simply print it at the airport, and you're done.

Well i am here now howevee i found out why i couldnt print my boarding card.

Lucky me got randomly chosen for additional security checks!!
Got to the gate at lhr and because im under 18 me and my dad had to go over. My dad got frisked but i had my bag deep searched, a deep frisk and then swabbed for drugs!! It was the most terryfying thing ever, really shook me up but then at the TSA at BOS i was going to have to do it again! I got really stressed by it but thankfully they didnt want to do it as i was underage.

But glad i got here now and having a great time!

That's unbelievable! I've had a couple of random frisks but it was all very nicely done and they were very clear that I just happened to be number x so it was the luck of the draw. Thankfully they didn't put you through it all again. Sounds like you are really ready for a holiday now!

I had the whole bag open/swab done at heathrow but it turned out it was because i had put our luggage scale in my hand luggage in error and they thought i had a cork screw in my hand luggage.

DH gets frisked all the time because he is so tall he sets of the alarm on the screening machine.

Its not a nice experience to have it done but it somehow feels comforting knowing that they go to that extent to make sure we are all safe.
