Boarding group question

We are first time cruisers and I am traveling with my family as well as my SIL. We are all also using disney transfers from Pop. I checked in today and was assigned BG 6. However, I am not going to see my SIL until Saturday to help her do her check in process. Will the gap in check in dates have a large impact on my SILs boarding group since our PAT will be the same?

There are multiple boarding groups within a PAT window so it's highly possible you'll have a different boarding group. However they should be close. You can wait and board together at the higher (later) group -- that should only be a few minutes, maybe 10-15 minutes if that much.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. For our resort transfers, we were assigned BG 6. I think they were on 3 or 4 when we got to the port, but by the time we got through the checkin at security and up the stairs, they were on 8 or 9? After a restroom break, I think they were on 11?

If you are all on the bus, you will all arrive and check-in at that time. Everyone who is on the bus. Boarding Group (BG) doesn’t matter at that time.

You are processed, bags scanned, and you go upstairs to the waiting area. That’s where you will hear them call BGs.

And then, BGs matter. And what the above posts said.

And have a great first cruise! 🚢 🎉
