Ohh...geek talk! I'm giddy!! Tell me more? What type of SAN are you using? HP? EMC? What are you doing with the new LUN? Just more storage space for swap files?

EMC Fiber Channel SAN. We just use a "Piece" of it. Right now we are spread over 10 disks but our IO wait times are huge and the only thing on that san is the MySql DB that runs this place. They are going to move us to a new LUN with more disks (I forgot to ask how many!)

We can even do pictures! This is today

I love the nose dive in waiting I/O at 5 pm and the increase in users at the same time. A lot of folks are checking the DIS at work!
