Board crashing safari on ios9

Anyone else having more frequent crashing of Safari on ios9? About every third page load of the dis on my iPad 2 causes safari to crash. I've mentioned it before too though that this site takes forever to fully load on iOS. I usually have to hit the X to stop the page from loading to actually view anything.

I'm guessing it'll be one of the adverts loading up and filling the memory up!

I thought of that but it happens even when I bypass my ad blocking proxy to show the ads. The slowness/unresponsiveness happened on ios8 but ios9 I've gotten more crashing and "an error occurred on the page so it was reloaded" messages. Perhaps it's ios9 but it really only happens on this board

This happens to me almost every third or fourth page I try to load from the DIS using my iPad, I don't have the problem on any other websites. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to know,
