blue zoo selections

We are planning our meals for an upcoming trip and have loved blue zoo for its seafood. Looking at its recent menu on disney dining it appears that most of the seafood variety is gone. Can anyone who has dined there recently comment on the choices. ie dancing fresh fish, cantonese lobster, main coarse shrimp dish, My memory could be faulty but it seems to be a diminished group of options. TIA

I find that the menus on the website are usually shorter versions of what they actually have.

Looking at the pdf menu in the Swan and Dolphin app, I do not see any of those things currently listed.

I'd suggest grabbing the Swan Dolphin Mobile App it will show you current hours and the menus. It appears they've simplified the fish options to be a varity of daily fish; tuna, mahi mahi, salmon, snapper or swordfish. Like most restraunts they've had to limit things, but the app is where they seem to have the most up to date info vs the S/D website.

Wow. I just looked at the menu via the Disney website. There is only one total seafood dish that I see. I remember seeing the menu before and reading a trip report where they had an awesome lobster dish. Or was that somewhere else?

Nope - Bluezoo - after seeing a picture, now I really want it. Hopefully they'll bring it back for 2022...

We just ate there in mid-June and, if memory serves, they still had a variety of fish dishes. I recall the ones that you could choose the preparation and sauce choice. The night we went, they had a "surf and turf" special with a filet and seafood that was outstanding. Truly one of the best restaurants on-property, IMHO.

Disappointing options for a restaurant that calls itself a seafood restaurant. We were hoping there were off menu fresh options that would make it a go to choice. Looking into off site places to satisfy our chance for good seafood. Thanks for the help everyone!
