Blue Skies, Sunshine, and Unseasonably HOT Pixie Dust! Update 3/6 Final Thoughts!

Aww, thanks! Her birthday was the 6th. We had a tee ball game, recital, and party last weekend. It was fun but tiring! Update coming up!

First, I am going to update with some of the Photopass pics up to this point.

When I left off, we were heading back to the hotel to rest up for dinner. The kids swam for just a little while, and I rested in the room and wrote in my trip journal. Then, we all got ready and headed here!!!

Of course, we had to stop for some of these pics with the cool topiaries you see when you first get in the gates during F&G.

Why isn’t Bella in any of them, you ask? Well, after walking from the bus stop to the main entrance, she looked like this!

We were running a little behind, so we had to hurry our way over to Japan for our dinner reservation at Teppan Edo!


Since we were rushing, I didn’t really take any pics on our way there or even when we got to Japan. We were seated at our table very quickly and ordered. Before long, our chef came to start cooking for us! Her name was Mikiki. She was AWESOME! So energetic and entertaining.

She made the volcano:

And turned it into Mickey (I didn’t get a pic though). Before she cut him up, she looked at my dad and said, “Now it’s ok, don’t cry, I know you love Mickey!” and made a sad face. It was SOOO funny. She was throwing and catching things and all. I had never been to a hibachi restaurant so it was a great experience.

We also really enjoyed our meal. Some of had filet and some had chicken, but it was all very good. The noodles with vegetables were good, too! The kids were very entertained and everyone was very impressed. I was really glad I chose this meal!

After dinner, we decided to do a little exploring in the WS.

It was getting close to Illuminations time but we knew we weren’t going to stay for it this night, so we went to a few countries. We went into Norway and the wait for Maelstrom said 10 minutes, so we decided to wait. There was actually NO line. We literally walked up and there was a boat with 3 people sitting in it so we got right on. I thought the ride was just ok, but who doesn’t love this gift shop??? We took lots of pics, of course!

We continued around and Bella tried some stuff in different countries:

And we stopped for a Fiesta Ride with no wait!

And then we headed out! We were all exhausted so we headed to bed!!!

We had so much fun at Teppan Edo when we ate there too! Those chefs really know how to keep a group entertained.

So glad you enjoyed Teppan Edo! I so wanted to get there on our trip, but unfortunately it was lost when we went to the beach.

Great Photopass pics Kayce!!! I LOVE the "Where Dreams Come True" border too! That's my favorite!!! Teppan Edo looks so good!! Great pictures from there, it looked like your chef was really fun!!!! Fun update! great photopass photos...I really like the one of you and Bella "1st trip" great job on the photos in the front of Epcot!

TE looks to be like a lot of fun and sounds yummy! If we ever decide to add the DDP I believe I will have to be sure to add that one!

Isn't Teppan Edo so good? I get to eat there again in September and am so excited. We don't have hibachi places around here. Great update, great pictures! Looks like a fun night in Epcot.

Great update and pics. Teppan Edo looked like a lot of fun. I was supposed to do it last trip but Dh and I were too full from all the beers ahem i mean cokes we drank around the world ... anywho now its on our list for our xmas trip !!

Awesome!!! Bella looked like she had SO much fun in World Showcase!! Can't wait to try TE one day. Looks amazing I think Maelstrom is just one of those "oldie but goodie" rides that no one really likes, but can't live without

Bella is so stinking adorable in all of those gift shop pictures. I especially love the ones with the gladiator, braid hat thing on. So funny.

Dress is super cute. You did a great job. I started sewing thanks to you, and have made 3 outfits so far. I was able to find patterns on sale at Hobby Lobby for 99 cents each, so I stocked up on them.

I love Hibachi. I am glad that you ventured out and tried it. I have heard great things about that restaurant, but we can't go there because something about the atmosphere at Hibachi Grill's gives my hubby severe asthma attacks. He was hospitalized once where is lung nearly collapsed. He tried going twice, and after the second time we decided we wouldn't attempt it again. If I want Hibachi, then I have to go by myself with the kids.

I also wanted to say that I like the picture you took from Japan where you can see the full moon coming out over Epcot. Very Beautiful!
