After Spectro, we decided we didnt want to wait for Wishes to start so we began to make our way toward Fantasyland. I thought maybe the line for Dumbo would go down due to the parade and fireworks, so we headed that way. It was slow going for sure! We had just made it to FL when Wishes started. We actually watched part of it from right next to Dumbo, which still had a huge line--at least 30 minutes.
I dont know the reason, but the fireworks pics I took from FL were the best ones Ive ever gotten. I dont know if it was the angle or what, but if you are looking for good fireworks pics, that might be the place to be!
We decided not to wait for Dumbo, but instead to head over to Splash and use a GAD FP. On the way, Haunted Mansion had no wait, so we went right in. Bella was getting a little crabby again, and she didnt want to ride. She hid her eyes most of the time and in hindsight I wish I hadnt made her. I mean, she wasnt kicking or screaming but was kinda like, I dont want to, and couldnt make up her mind. After that, for the whole week, every ride we went on she was scared it would get dark. And I think shed have enjoyed it if she hadnt been so sleepy. Oh well, live and learn!
The boys did like it although they were a little puzzled at its lack of scariness. Next we headed to Splash, and Bella decided she didnt want to ride it, either, so my mom ended up staying back with her.
When we got off the ride, Bella was whining about how much she wanted to ride Dumbo, but the boys wanted to try BTMRR. We decided that my parents would take Bella and I would go with the boys and we would just meet back at the resort. So the boys and I got in line and were on the ride about 5 minutes later, which was mostly just walking through the queue. We were in the front row! It was really cool at night, though it was a little jerky so I got a small headache while on it.
The castle WAAAAAAY in the distance
The boys decided they wanted to ride Space again, so off we went. We stopped for this pic:
And a couple of PP pics (still no CD! Will post later).
We got to Space and all the FP machines were closed, so we got in the stand-by line. It said 40 minutes but only ended up being 20. While we were in line, MAJOR exhaustion hit us. We all agreed we should have just left, but we were already in line so we stayed.
When we got out of the gift shop after the ride, we were blasted by the hot air. And it was midnight! I couldnt believe it was still that hot and humid.
After the ride, we passed Laugh Floor which had a very long wait!
(It says 999 minutes if you cant see).
And stopped on Main Street for a pic of the time--12:20! And we had been up since 4:30 our time, which would be 5:30 FL time.
My parents gave me this pic of what happened after Dumbo!
The bus line was long for Riverside so we didnt make it back until after 1. We fell into bed and slept VERY soundly!!
