What a wonderful end to your trip! I'm wondering if there is a story behind you saying the "not so ME" or if you just feel like I do- At the beginning of the trip, it is definitely the Magical Express, but when it is taking you back home it is like a bus taking you to prison. No, I totally agree! There isn't really a story, I've just heard it referred to as that a lot here on the DIS for when you leave the trip. It is just not a Magical feeling going home like it is coming!

Final Thoughts

What an awesome trip we had! Yes, it was hot, and yes, it was crowded, but it could have been worse and we were in DISNEY! For my first trip in over ten years, I think it went very well and I have definitely become an obsessed Disney lover. I have converted Bella into one, too, though honestly it didn’t take much doing--she felt the magic all on her own.

Since my last trip to the Magic Kingdom in 1999, so much had changed. First off, I had never experienced Animal Kingdom. While it’s not my favorite park (ok, it’s actually my least favorite) I still enjoyed it a lot. The last time I was at “MGM” was in 1994 and ToT was just being built. At the time, I didn’t like the park at all--didn’t think there was much to do. This trip, I absolutely fell in love with Hollywood Studios and I think it is the most fun park. The Magic Kingdom will always be my favorite because it is the most magical and nostalgic, but honestly I think some of the rides at HS are the most fun on property. I wish we had a little bit more time at Epcot, I feel like we rushed through WS and there is so much more I want to see and do there on my next trip. We also never made it to the Imagination Pavilion and I know Bella will really enjoy that, so it is a priority for Sept/Oct.

One of my favorite things about this trip was of course seeing Bella, Noah, and Jaeden experience it all for the first time. I also felt like I had the best of both worlds, because I got to do all the fun littler kid stuff with Bella and the bigger kid stuff with the boys. Going on the newer thrill rides for the first time being just as scared as the boys was so much fun!

With all that being said, here are my top ten favorite memories from the trip (in no particular order!).

1. Staying at the Magic Kingdom until 12:30 on our first night (after getting up at 4 am)

2. Watching Bella turn into a princess

3. Beating Noah in a TSMM grudge match

4. Alone time in AK and the WS

5. 1900 Park Fare: Bella getting picked to dance first with Prince Charming/Noah getting kissed by a stepsister

6. The sweet moments between Bella and Jaeden

7. Riding ToT for the first time with the boys and not letting Noah (or me!) use the chicken exit

8. Meeting Tiana and Naveen

9. Meeting up with DIS-friends

10. Of course, ending the trip watching Wishes with Bella in the hub.
