Trust the balloons to catch Bella's attention first--she is so like Lilian! Too bad about the sunglasses. Cute Zurg pictures--you definitely see they were warm! AWESOME update Abby ALWAYS gets a little overwhelmed when we first get to Disney. It is just all of the traveling I think. I am so happy Bella perked up,because it looks like she had an awesome time!! I can not get over the picture of Bella making a wish! That must have made the whole trip worth it...just PRECIOUS!!

Yes, I know! And we had been traveling all day, so that didn't help either. I'm actually glad we did a grown up ride first to give her time to recover.

I just love seeing the castle for the first time!! And I love Bella wishing at the fountain with her eyes closed! Soo cute! My girls really enjoyed Carousel of Progress last time! You can't get that song out of your head!!

Me too, there is just something about arriving on Main Street that first time...you will be doing that very soon! And that song does get stuck, even two weeks later!

You made it to the Magic Kingdom. Funny story about Bella focusing more on the balloons than the castle. I know a few kids that would do that too I'm glad that COP cheered her up. It looks like you're having tons of fun!

She is VERY easily distracted! But she did love CoP!!!

That is too funny that Bella was more interested in the balloons and didn't realize the castle. I love the picture of her making a wish in Cinderella's fountain! That is where DH proposed in 2007--so I am biased!

And to answer your question..yes, we did have a great time even though it was hot and busy as can be!!

Awww, what a sweet place to propose. Every time we look at those pics, she says, "That is RIGHT by the castle!" and I hear the longing in her voice to be back in that very same spot. And I totally understand that feeling!

When I read that your parents took Bella on CoP, I thought that was just what she needed - a nice long COOL attraction so that she could regroup!

I don't know, but she takes wishing very seriously! She would never tell me her wish! The dizziness is why we didn't ride with the boys...they wanted to spin really fast, and we didnt!

I'm glad Bella seemed to recover from the initial weariness! That instant FP does sound cool! Our first time using them, we sped right past the 1 hour long stand-by line on BTMRR and my DH turned to me and asked why anyone would wait when you can use FP's instead!

I totally agree with your DH--why would anyone not use FP? They are so great!

I'm in! All caught up and can't wait for more. We are currently planning a trip for 2011. No dates nailed down yet though. We have been in May twice before and loved that time of year but the kids are older now and I am not sure about taking them out of school. So our other choice is June/July. Not afraid of the heat. We all love the hot weather. We are more afraid of the crowds. Anyhow, your daughter is adorable and I am psyched for all the rest!

Welcome! I like hot weather, too, but this was insane! It was the humidity that made it sorta miserable. We have always gone in July so that was all I knew going in--it's not too bad.

We adored the CoP. I hope that you got to enjoy it sometime during your trip too. I couldn't think of a better way to perk up a hot, not so happy kiddo. I adore the photo of her closing her eyes and making a wish. That shows the magic for sure! So precious!

I did get to enjoy it later! She was a little scared of it at first but talked about it all week! It WAS a magic moment.

Yeah, I know! It was frustrating but only for a moment. Bella gets bright red when she's hot, so you will see a lot of her little red face in the pics! Hopefully it will at least not be as humid for you in Sept. We had a very magical moment at the fountain!

She had been up since 5 am, so I'm sure that didn't help. We did have a great time, and there were SO many moments that made it all worth it. We had such a good time!

Yes, it was jam packed, but we were so excited that we wanted to get as much in as we could!

After we made our wishes in Cinderella’s Fountain, we headed to the exit. We debated walking to the Contemporary, but it was really hot and we were tired, so we hopped on the monorail. After a quick trip, we were arriving here:

We were a little early for our 6:30 ADR, but we didn’t have to wait long. Soon we were at our table, and then we got our food. And before long, Donald came along!

He was officially the first autograph in Jaeden’s and Bella’s autograph books!

After Donald posed for this pic, he was trying to give Noah a message. He pointed to his eye, so we got, “I.” Then he kept pointing to Noah and his (Donald’s) head. We were all trying to guess, “want, know, like, can, think”…etc…but we never did figure out what Donald was trying to say so he waved and along he went. I still wonder what message he was trying to relay!!!

Up next was Goofy!

Then came Pluto:

I think Noah was at the buffet for Pluto.

After Pluto it was time for the celebration.

And then Mickey!!!

And last but not least, Minnie. Bella was so excited to see her! She showed her that she was on her shirt, and Minnie got so excited. It was very cute, unfortunately I didn’t get a pic of that part.

As soon as I set my camera down, Minnie kissed Noah on the head! He was really embarrassed. Here is his embarrassed smile:

We had a really fun time here. It was perfect for the first night. We got to meet the “main” characters, so we didn’t have to go search or wait in long lines for them--we had already met them. The atmosphere is fun and festive. The food was good. It wasn’t the best meal we had all week as far as food quality, but it was still good. And when we left, we were all relaxed, cooled off, and ready for some more time at the MK!!!
