I have seen the Blue Man Group in both Las Vegas and London and was wondering if the one showing in Universal is different at all? Thanks in advance.

Can't speak for London but the Orlando show is similar to the Las Vegas show only smaller and without a lot of the technical "goodies". There is some material that is unique to the Orlando show but I didn't find the new stuff all that entertaining. I enjoyed the show here and you'll have a great time regardless...I just found it a little underwhelming after seeing the LV and touring productions.

clownboy I have to say...best avatar ever.

Thanks for your input clownboy. :thumbsup2

I was wondering the same thing and thought my fiance was the OP of this when I saw the title... my question is for those who've seen the Tour Megastar 2.0 and Universal's show...

We saw BMG tonight 3/1 and LOVED it, except for one small section we were highly entertained...I see they are coming on tour next weekend and wondering if I would enjoy this being that I just saw Orlandos' or should I wait?

If it's different I'll pay the $200 and go, if it's very similar (other than knowing it's the same concept), I may skip and wait till next go round. Any advice?

I saw the Orlando show in July and absolutely loved it. I had a chance to see the touring show with a friend in November. Personally, I enjoyed the Orlando show more, but it was completely new to me then. Also, in Orlando, I was able to spend the day at the Universal parks and eat lunch at Emeril's. I worked 8 hours the day of the touring show, and drove an hour each way to the performance. It shouldn't have made a difference, but it was nice seeing BMG while in a vacation frame of mind.

There are similarities in the shows, but they are not identical. The tour is more music oriented with a number of songs featuring vocalists. I don't want to spoil anything by saying too much about the overlap. I liked the more intimate feel of the theater in Orlando, but I'm glad I saw the tour version as well.

Thanks for the reply, we are still trying to figure out if we should go or not. My other half really liked the music in the show so I'm thinking he may really like the tour but after having just seen it this weekend we are not sure if seeing them again in less than a week would be worth it or if we should wait. Any more opinions?
