Is this worth exploring in Naussa? The rest of my group wants to check something out while there.

My husband and I spent a day at the Blue Lagoon when we took a 3 night caraval cruise in 2003. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. Granted this was probably the closest that we were going to get to anything even close to Castaway Cay (my guess since I haven't been yet) since it was out one and only port of call. The people we were traveling with went to Atlantis and then to a beach over there somewhere and had a nice time.

We did this in June 2002 and we had a wonderful time. It was very peaceful. There is a shallow cove if you have little ones. A nice snorkeling area, but you have to walk over some rocks to get out to the deeper water. I recommend water shoes for this instead of fins. They also have rental crafts, they were non-motorized at the time.

There are two trips back to the ship at 2 and at 4. It is about a 45 min ride.

We also did the Catamaran sail and reef snorkel in June 2003. It was very nice. We were back on the ship around 1ish which I liked because we got lunch on board, cleaned up, went into the straw market (twice because we ran out of cash!) and all before my 5:00 spa appt.

My sister and her friend just came back from Blue Lagoon.

They loved it. They swam with the dolphins and the snorkeling was wonderful.

They said they would definately go there again.

I would try this. My family went and had a great time. There is a lagoon which is very nice and calm. Not too deep and great for kids. We took our DD7 and DS9 last year and the kids want to go back again. The food was good and they have a photo shop where a camera man will walks around and takes pictures that you can later buy. We got a great one of our family in the lagoon. It is a fun boat ride and hammocks all over to lay in. Very relaxing.

Our family loved Blue Lagoon as well for many of the same reasons stated previously. It was a very relaxing beach no, no vendors trying to sell us trinkets either.
