Hey all!

I am off to the magic again this Sunday with my friend and she is happy to just take things as it comes ~ but we all know that I simply cannot live life in the fast-lane when it comes to Disney Restaurant Reservations... :rotfl:

I've already decided on Café Mickey for the evening of our arrival, and on our final night we will do BBWWS (as per tradition) - but I REALLY want to try Blue Lagoon as I still haven't ate there before! Lisa would kill me if she found out!

Does anybody know if its possible to make telephone reservations for Blue Lagoon or if it is simply a case of turning up and taking chances? :confused3 I'm thinking of a 1 or 2pm ressie for the Bank Holiday Monday (gonna be mayhem I know).

Thanks guys!

Adam

yes you can reserve a table at the Blue Lagoon, either by phone in advance, or at City Hall when you arrive :).

I always make reservations for there and I think it's best to. My friend visited DLP once out of school holidays and couldn't get in (not even later than day) so if you don't phone before you go then definitely make a ressie as soon as you get there, I certainly wouldn't leave it to chance.

I'll even go as far as saying I'll join Lisa if you don't dine there this time - we all love Blue Lagoon and have never had a bad meal there inspite of reading several dire reviews. It comes a very close second to Walt's for my favourite restaurant. Try and beg a beach table if you can but don't worry if they can't oblige as I'm sure you'll love it there anyhow.

I'm so envious of you going again so soon - do you need anyone to carry your luggage for you? :rotfl2:

You MUST eat at the Blue Lagoon, it's even my dd's first choice over Cafe Mickey!

Last time I'd made a reservation over the phone but on the morning decided to ask if we could move it a bit later and luckily we were able to :goodvibes

I'm veggie and really enjoyed the veggie option, oh and the banana pud was :cloud9: mmmmmmm I am itching to make our ressie's for Dec x

With reviews like this, especially Elaine's rave-up of the place, how could I not make a reservation for here?!

I've just got off the phone to Disney and I now have a ressie for Café Mickey, Blue Lagoon and BBWWS!

Yay!!! Getting all excited now!

Adam sweetheart, would you mind taking a photo of the kids menu when you are there? After reading this thread and the restaurant one, I'm tempted to try the Blue Lagoon myself on our next trip, but I don't know if the current kids menu would have much on it that my DD would like.

Please please pretty please :worship::worship:?

Not sure if it's changed much but in Feb the kids menu was:

Starter - Tomato and mozzarella salad
Main - Chicken Breast with meat gravy (garnished with perfumed rice and vegetables) or 4 Cheese Ravioli
Dessert - Vanilla ice-cream choc chip sundae or Exotic fruit salad

Kids meal also included a drink but somehow I've cleverly torn off the price :headache:

thanks, she could do the chicken dish :goodvibes.

I will put a reminder in my little Disney pack this evening...

I'm more than happy to take plenty of photos of Captain Jack Sparrow as well should anybody need these? And Tarzan... :rotfl2:

I'm thrilled you've booked Blue Lagoon, you won't be sorry. I love the plantain, you should try it! Oh I'm so jealous. What nights are you going where?? I want to know where you're going to be on my birthday! (wednesday 31st)
