I love your photo :thumbsup2 Thank you for sharing. You look like you had so much fun. I can not wait until we get to bring DS :cool1:

It was awesome. Just putting picture in frame this morning. Just so you know with the pictures at Blue Lagoon. They let you mix the pictures in the package. We got 3 5x7 and 2 magnets for $40 I think. That way you can get individual as well as a group picture. Just make sure you bring cash.

Thank you :thumbsup2

just 1 more question if you book the first one of the day when you are done is there time to go to the beach????

Yes. We were the first ones, and we were done and took the first boat back at 1:30 I think. We had about an hour to watch the dolphins before it was time for the first boat. We wanted to back to go to the spa, but we had about 3 to 4 hours to spend on beach if we wanted. We were also on a budget so we wanted to eat lunch on the boat for free. :)

My daughter did the Dolphin Swim excursion, and I just did the observer. It was amazing and she loved it! I have details and photos in my cruise trip report.

This is the link to blue lagoon where dcl will take you.
The 1st meeting on board was 9:30 am. All excursions going to blue lagoon leave together on the same catamaran. We did our dolphin swim information session almost immediately after arriving. It just takes a few minutes to sort who is going where.

FYI should you forget you $$ or change your mind you will find your photos on this site after and can order online.:)

Also, if you go to www.disneycruise.com, then click on Cruise and Destinations, then click Port Adventures, then select Nassau, Bahamas from the drop down menu on the far right hand side, you can click on the Blue Lagoon trips.

After calling Disney Cruise, they told me I had the choice of two times in March, 9:30 or 12:45 for both the Dolphin Swim and the Sea Lion Encounters. They said they also have a 2:30 time rarely offered, if the ship is staying later at the port.

Technically, it would work to do both, provided they are not both sold out, but you would not be able to do anything else, such as Atlantis.

Also, you can book directly with Blue Lagoon dolphin encounters at their website or by phone, just do not mention you are with DCL, otherwise, they will state that they have signed a contract with Disney stating that they will not book any of their cruisers. If you simply call and do not mention the ship you are coming from, they can give you a discount for doing one or both of their encounters. They also mentioned on the phone that they give most of their spots to DCL anyway, so your best chances, according to them, is to book with Disney.

I hope this helps. When we were able to book at our 75 days out (first time cruisers, here), they had some available times for both the swim and the encounter, but we decided to go to Atlantis instead, and experience these on another cruise :). Happy Sailing and I hope this helped somewhat.

Thank you DisneyDreamer09 and Disney 2010 you both have been a great help :thumbsup2 I think DS will this this when we go in May :cool1:

Although this may save money they asked on the island where you are staying or what ship you came off of so be prepared to lie if you book directly. I would call/ask at blue lagoon and see if you book online if you can pay to add on once you are there. I suspect if they have room you may get a good rate on a second experience but they may not guarantee it. With the price of these excursions I'm sure few people ask to do 2 :scared1:

Have fun!!
