Blue Goose Trip

I'd like to do Spoodles followed by Jellyrolls. That sounds fun!! :cool1: Would Saturday night be a good night to do that on?

Also what's the name of that dance place on Pleasure Island? 8Trax? I think that might be fun to check out as well.

Beth, I wanted to check out 8Trax on the last trip, and never did. I know one night (can't remember which right now) they play 80's music!:cool1:

And I am definately up for Spoodles and Jellyrolls!

I'm starting to research where I want to eat. (bought some guide books, been browsing on allears, etc.). I know I want to go to Prime Time, don't want to go to Boma. But it might be more fun if we did smaller groups at different restaurants. Especially since many of us are staying at the same resort. We could go & have dinner with the smaller group, then hang out at AC & then come back & hang out at the resort.

And every day, I am thinking more & more that I will get the DP.

Missy, are you going to try to go to Earl's and then the AC on Friday? I hope so. Smaller groups are fine, perfect in fact, the rest of the time, but I'd love for everyone to make a real effort to go on Friday.

It's not a sit down, don't have to hassle with a bunch of different payment options, everyone just orders on their own, no ADR to make and keep up with. Not sure about the seating still but I suppose we can figure something out. Lap seating may be necessary. :rotfl2:

Hi ladies not sure if I told you all or not but as of last week I only work for Disney now. I'm still working at Boardwalk Resort and loving it still. Sounds like plans for your trip here are going good and looks like your going to have lots of fun. Hopefully I'll get to see you all again while your here. Nov. is a big month for me cause there's Super Soap Weekend and then Christmas gets started soon after that. Well looking forward to seeing you all and catching up.:)

Beth, I love Earl's--it's absolutely one of my favorites. So I will pencil that in.

I'll be staying at BWV in August! Where do you work? I'll have to say hello.
I'll also be there in about a month but because I booked late, will be staying at OKW. Maybe I can walk over from EPCOT. I'll miss my "home"! That's the only place I've stayed in quite some time! I LOVE BW!

Woot Woot!! :woohoo: Is that anything like a Lap Dance? :rolleyes1
Depends....how much cash you got?? Some of these ladies will do anything for a couple bucks. :rolleyes1

Hey Barb! Good to see you here. I hope you can find a time to hang with us in November!! :cool1: :thumbsup2

Barb, I'm glad you're loving your job !! that's awesome !! I hope we get to see you in November

Anyone doing anything "special" or "extra" this time around, like a tour or something?

And if the International Dinner and Illuminations Dessert Reception isn't scheduled for that time after all, is anyone interested in doing a dinner show?

I've seen Hoop Dee Doo Revue already so I wouldn't want to see that, but maybe the Polynesian one? Has anyone seen that or heard much about it?

Or what about the Fantasmic Dinner package. I missed Fantasmic last time and I'd love to see it without having to wait this time around.

Just think only 46 more days before we can start booking our ADRs!!! :rotfl2:

I have not heard great things about the Polynesian show (I think more about the food than the show) but that doesn't mean there aren't folks out there who like it. You could check the restaurant boards for reviews.

I have the food and wine things so I won't be able to get to a dinner show.

I'd consider doing the Fantasmic Package, I've never seen the whole show. As far as the Polynesian one I'd rather just go to Kona Cafe or Ohana,s but maybe someone else would like to do that . Will you be able to find out in 45 days about the International Dinner and Illuminations Dessert Reception or do you have to wait intil closer til the trip?

Once we start picking the ADRs it's really going to crazy around here :rotfl:

OKay, the reviews were less than favorable for the Polynesian show, so I don't think that's a very good idea after all. Much better to just plan a ladies trip to Hawaii and see a real luau. :rolleyes1

OMG, you have no idea!!!! :scared1: :lmao:

I was told they didn't have the schedule for the Dinner and Dessert Reception up yet, but that you could book it 180 days out like the other ADR's so that is May 5.

So as it gets closer to that date, I'll call and see if they know the schedule for that yet. I have a bad feeling that they won't have it due to the Food and Wine events. She said they didn't have it last year at that time for that reason.

So that's why I was thinking of plan B. And the Fantasmic package sounds like fun to me.

I would do that . . . I wonder if Hollywood and Vine participates. I wouldn't mind trying there - I won't go with kids. I understand it's on the fancy side. The place would never be the same once my DS got through with it!

Laura,
I think you're thinking of Hollywood brown Derby instead of Hollywood&Vine. I've been to H&V and its not the least bit fancy, your DS would be fine there :)

Both Brown Derby and Hollywood & Vine participate in the Fantasmic package. Brown Derby is 2 DDP credits though.

Oooooops. You are exactly right. We've been to H & V with Little Einsteins and Jo Jo. I meant Brown Derby! Thanks.
