Blue Book??

hello all!
i was just wondering about this blue book that everyone talks about. i just got my membership card last week, yesterday got my paper saying my deed will be sent and that my bank account will start being deducted. but am i going to be receiving anything else? like this "blue book"? i of course received the box with the "best kept secret" logo and the files in there. not sure if anything else, besides "magical vacations" will be headed my way. TYVM

PS and i don't need any SSR advice from Daitcher or Boatboatboat thanks anyway

Sorry the only blue book I ever heard of had to do with the trade in value of cars.

I've heard people call it the blue book before but mine is purple.

It's a hard cover sales book with pics of all the DVCs in there and the other vacation options you have. It is really pretty, just call your guide and ask for one

We didn't take the DVC tour, but signed up for info online,
and the blue book arrived in a week at our home. This was before our guide phoned us. This was last summer/fall

Our is blue. Nice book, info on all the DVC resorts, room layouts, point cost, etc.

Perhaps you are thinking of the DVC membership card - we often refer to that as our "blue card" - especially when talking about qualifying for DVC member perks.

You won't get a blue/purple 'dream' book now unless you ask for one from your guide. It's part of the promotional materials they send out when you first start the buying process. When people first start to consider DVC they FedEx a package of info to you which usually includes the DVC video and dream book.

I have nothing useful to offer but everytime I see those cats in your sig I fall in love! We've never had anything but Siamese cats - right now we have a lilac point and a seal point (Simba and Koda, LOL)

But I just had to gush over how gorgeous your cats are!

awww thank you that is so sweet. i am the same way - only siamese cats for the past 28 years. there is something so unique about them... as you can see i have 2 blue points and a seal. the seal is a demon...

i think i'll call my guide about the book. i've never gotten any hardcover book, but i've heard so much about it that now i want one! lol. thanks for the tips
