Has anyone dined at Blue Bayou lately for lunch? Is the Monte Cristo still on the menu? I know its not for dinner.

Any other not-to-miss restaurants you recommend?

Thanks!

We were there about 2 weeks ago. It's not on the menu but you can still order it for lunch, although for some reason I didn't think it was as good this past visit. Maybe the cook just had a bad day.

Our other must-do is Trader Sam's at the DLH.

At DCA we love Wine Country Trattoria, outside seating under an umbrella.

If you want a first class, long sit down meal, look at Carthay Circle. It's been the best I've dined at. I haven't tried Napa Rose, yet, and that is one that everyone raves about.

It's not our fav restaurant- I don't know if you have been before? We are going next month only because of the Fantasmic package, but I am trying to get Cafe Orleans instead because we actually like eating there. From personal experience, I would recommend CO, Carnation Cafe, Carthay Circle, and Storytellers. I have never been to Napa Rose or Steakhouse, so I can't comment on those, but others seem to really like them.

I have a coworker who just left Blue Bayou a month ago. She contacted a friend that still works there and confirmed that the monte cristo is their best seller and will not be leaving the menu.
I can confirm after this weekend after we eat there.
