I agree on asking for waterside and making sure you get it. If its your first time, you're going to want the best experience, and you may decide you don't want to go back if you don't like the food or the price

so don't waste it on a non waterside table. I will tell you they hesitate to seat parties of 2 at the waterside since they make more money off 4+ people, but that doesn't sound like an issue with your group.

Having people in boats yell out to you across the dimness, "Hey! Throw me some chicken!" ....priceless!
Sadly, they don't have the delicious Flying Dutchman Cookie Boat anymore. I've heard claims they couldn't find a proper maker for the edible hard sugar sail, but heck, they could have used a plastic one. Nobody eats it anyway, but the rest of the dessert is YUM!!! It was one of the best parts of eating there. You can google it if you want to see it.
