BLT Walk Reservation Marathon!? What!?

So I am a new BLT owner. I want to stay the night in a 1BR theme park view 1/3-1/4 and then transition to a 3BR theme park view 1/5-1/8 for family coming. Is this even possible? I am not sure if because the marathon is so close to New Years Eve or if this is just never possible because people walk their reservations. Do any BLT owners have any experience with these room availabilities for Marathon weekend? My desire to book 11months out looks bleak right now!?

People are booking for NYE. The rooms you want will likely all be open starting either Jan 1st or 2nd. The 1BR - I don't think it'll be a problem. There are fewer 3BR but it probably will be fine.
If you were looking for a standard view then there may be walkers but I've seen those open up on the 2nd too.
