oh I am the only fool who thinks this thing might be dangerous - especially if enough of us decide to stand there to watch the fireworks???

will it have doors that will automatic close it off when the max number of people are already on it?

or am I just being silly?

hmmmm..........i wonder what that weight limit is. I'm guessing lots of people will try to stand on it during the fireworks and that could pose a problem. I never thought of that. :confused3

You can bet Disney thought about it.

I bet you could pass 18-wheelers on that thing if it were wide enough.

Find something else to worry about. That thing ain't gonna fall. :thumbsup2

It would be rated at a minimum of 100lbs per sqft which is about a tight as you can comfortably pack people, and being a suspended structure would think that it was designed with a 3 to 1 safety factor (and looks like it from what I have seen) so I would not worry.

:goodvibes If they made it a see through floor, they wouldn't have to worry about MY being there! I cannot imagine going to that Indian Reservation over the Grand Canyon!

There my not be much of a fireworks view from the sky walk?

Spiceycat,

Let hope they use the correct washers on the cables!

There might be something to allow some relative motion between the Contemporary Tower and BLT.

from what I have seem - it is directly located where it would get a nice view.

now it might be a view of the gf and and adventureland - but I think at least part of it would definitely be the fireworks at night.

for those of us who don't get to go to the lounge - it sounded like every night you would not be invited to the lounge - only on certain night(s)

besides can handle 4th (or 5th) much better than 16th floor.
