BLT room request?

I've booked a Theme Park View room at BLT this September. I am wondering if it makes sense to ask for a room on the top floor or higher up to take advantage of the views? We'll be at WDW for 10 days but only our first night at BLT so I want to make the best of it

Yes, request high floor; don't ask for higheest or a single floor because the default in choosing your room if particular floor not available is to assign on the basis that there is no request. High floor gives you chance for good view. Basically, anything above the 7th floor is decent view. 7 is barely OK and 6 and below in TP rooms is a complete point rip off because you mostly see just ugly parking lot.
