BLT Check in

Hey everyone! We are staying at BLT in a few weeks and hadn't stayed there in awhile. A few questions:

-do you now check in at BLT or still at the Contemporary Main Desk?
-what are the chances our room will be ready? Last time it wasn't ready until 5pm. Usually when we stay at OKW or BWV and arrive early, like before Noon, our room is ready.
-Do DVC and resort patrons still have access to Top of the World Lounge?

We had a one bedroom ready for us at 11 last fall at BLT. You just do not know. We had no requests, and it was a very nice villa.

You check in at BLT, or do on line check in.

DVC people staying in WDW have access to the TOTW Lounge.

I just stayed there this past weekend. Check-in is in the BLT building itself. I arrived at 3pm and my room was ready. TotW lounge access is for any DVC member (direct or resale) staying at any Disney resort on property (with cash or points) and their guests. There's a lot of confusion about that so I asked the woman working the elevator for TotW specifically - she said as long as they are a DVC member staying anywhere on property, they were welcome to go up.

The front desk in the BLT lobby is open from 7 am to 10 pm daily. The front desk at CR operates 24/7.

I can't remember if you need your DVC card but I'd bring it (and a photo ID) to access TOWL.

Official policy is you need your DVC member card.

TOTWL is paid for by the BLT owners so all DVC, resale and direct owners are allowed to use the venue.

TOTWL is a commercial unit, think of it as you do Olivias at OKW and Artist's Palette at SSR only DVC has restricted to DVC Members only.
