BLT booked reservations!!

DH AND I STARTED AT 8:58, NON-STOP REDIAL FOR JUST UNDER 2 HOURS THEN ABOUT 20 MINUTES ON HOLD. ALL WORTH IT!!!!!! WE GOT 1ST CHOICE OF ALL WE WANTED (EVEN THOUGH WE HAD 4 OTHER OPTIONS AS THE FIRST PART OF OUR TRIP HAS BEEN BOOKED SINCE 11 MO. AT BOARDWALK!) WE ARE FINISHING OUR DECEMBER TRIP DEC. 8 - 13 IN A 2 BEDROOM MK VIEW! GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

I got busy signals until 10am. Waited about 20 minutes for MS.
I got 2 studios for October 17-19. DH's birthday is the 18th. One is MK and the other is LV (for DD and her family). Then DH and I are going back Dec 19 thru Jan 2 with a LV. No MK available then. But I am happy with what I got. And I can't wait to try BLT.

I was going to wait until tomorrow to make my reservation, until I started seeing people on here not getting what they wanted. I started trying at 10:15 CT. I got through around 10:30 and then spent 20 min. on hold. I was trying to get a one bedroom, MK view for Sept. 9-11. That was taken, but they did have Sept. 3-5 available. Now I will start my trip at BLT and finish at SSR.

It is a good news/bad news situation. DH's birthday is on the 9th and mine is on the 11th, so we wanted to be at BLT on our birthdays. Now, our planned days left us with extra Developer's points (can't have that), so I added an extra day onto our trip.

DH had decided that it was more important to have a MK view than to be at BLT on his birthday.

We started calling when they opened. After hitting redial for almost an hour and half we finally got through to a 20 min wait. We booked a 1 br MK view for Dec 12-19 which was our first choice.

How long were you on hold with MS? I started calling at 8:58am. IT WAS BUSY!!!!!! I hit redial for 2 hours . I got through FOUR TIMES, only to get disconnected after listening to all the menu options. After I finally got through, I was on hold for about 15-20 minutes before I was able to make my ressies.

What room/view did you get? I got a studio with a MK View and a studio with a Lake View!

Was the reservation what you wanted or did you have to make any adjustments based on availability? I had to make adjustments to my NYE ressie...MK Views were already booked, so I just booked Lake View.

When will you be going home? I made ressies for 12/22-5 nights, and 12/28-5 nights. I won't be able to go this year , so I will be renting these out. BUT I will be GOING HOME for the first time for President's Week 2010! I get to make that ressie next month.

...and any other info that you would like to share with BLT owners.

What room/view did you get? A Dedicated 2 Bedroom Magic Kingdom View
Was the reservation what you wanted or did you have to make any adjustments based on availability? I got exactly what I wanted with no adjustments.
When will you be going home? Thanksgiving week-Nov. 24-Dec. 1
