As some may remember I only booked this trip for myself and my son on Aug 12!! Fives nights, hard to find rooms but I got lucky!! First night was a studio at BW, and the next 4 were in a 1 bedroom standard at BLT (originally I was to move to a studio at VWL, but they were able to keep me put!!).

We were not sure if we had park passes, thinking of getting AP and TIW, not sure if we should do the DP or DDP. Decided against any dining plan, and upon arrival found out we had 3 park days left on our passes. Though the girl at BW was positive I had one day left on our 2005 10 day PHP's, but I double checked at guest relations and they said no, just water parks left!

So checkin at BW was less than stellar, very confusing as the front desk didn't seem to know what to do, did the check in online and told them that. Once they found our packet I advised them I didnt put a credit card down and they said no problem, went to our room, keys didnt work? Went back to the front desk and at the same time advised them the keys said no charging, and why when I gave the girl the card (when I told her I didnt use it online), did she not know to redo? Anyway, off to our room, nothign special, nice view of creepy clown! got changed and off to Flying Fish for dinner, very nice meal, and then to down town for a few hours.

Next day we checked out, dropped luggage at bell services and headed to Animal Kingdom had a great time, lunch at yak and yeti! YUMM. Left there and headed to Disney Studios, did everything, only line was Toy Story, contiuned on rides and went back and waited - 60 minutes! ouch! Rockin Roller Coaster was down so we missed it this trip. Had dinner at the ABC Commisary and it was good.

Checkin at BLT was a breeze and they were great and able to give us the last night here and have to move!!

One amazing thing here is the 16th floor viewing area and lounge to view the fireworks! WOW - def worth it! I envy those here during 4th of July or New Years!!!!

Friday we just chilled in the room, ordered a huge breakfast delivered, (have been eating it each morning!!) played at the pool, around 1:00 son decided we should head to Blizzard Beach, did that I kind of just played in the wave pool while he did the rides, went home and had dinner at Spirit of Aloha, fun meal.

Saturday, we walked over to MK, went on every ride we wanted, came back to the room for a big ole nap!!! left around 5:00pm and went to EPCOT, did a few rides some countries and dinner at Chefs de France, nice meal, but the food has gone down hill! not sure if the dining plan has anything to do with it, but our waitress was def not a fan of it, just too much food and people dont eat!

Sunday, slept in and didnt leave until almost 11:00! headed to EPCOT, had lunch in the land, it was ok, nothing special, did all we wanted and got back to the resort, flatbreads at the Contempo and now relaxing until we decide to head to MK (open until 1:00am tonight!!)

My thoughts on BLT - very nice, but can see some problems, the black furniture shows way too much, the room we are in, already has a dented lampshade and the main table has a bump in it. I did report this to maintance, some minor things our garbage can in the bedroom had stuff in it, though the room was cleaned. No biggie, but only today I realized I should prob have a remote for the master bedroom TV, there were two remotes in the living room, so I just took one of those, but just realized I have the one for the DVD player.

Some of the issues mentioned on the board are real, like why the heck would they not have shears on the windows!!!!! Being on the first floor, everyone can see you!!! You don't want to keep the curtains closed, because they rooms are dark, but if you keep them open, you just seem exposed to the world, while if there were shears, it would be fine. No locks on the pocket doors realy no biggie, I figure if I am living with someone in the same unit, they should know to knock! I do wish it was brighter, and I come from the VWL being my favorite, I think the issue is the energy efficeint bulbs! I love the shower! Though the overhead water trickles when you don't want it to! The pool area is nice, wish there was more shade and the pool was bigger, on the hot days, the area is packed, also wish the bar area was open before 11:00, it would be nice to use the refillable mugs there for your morning coffee if you don't want to make it!

I enjoy being on the monorail, that is the big plus to being here, but I have to so now staying at all the resorts VWL is still my favorite!

I'm glad you were able to get the reservation and it sounds like you are having a great time! I'm looking forward to seeing the fireworks from that lounge when we stay at BLT in January.

VWL is our favorite too:lovestruc
