BLT and fireworks

we just bought into the DVC last year so are still very new to the ins and outs

our DD and her family are going in just a few weeks they are staying on property now with us being members but not doing the

fireworks with them can they still go up with our card


if no how does it work if we would let them use our points for a stay--wouldnt the ressie be under their name yet wouldnt they still be able to go up there

or even if your using your parents points since they wont be with you --you still cant go up to see the fireworks

sorry for all the questions were still trying to get things figured out

You must be the member showing both your member card and you photo ID in order to use TOTWL. So if your daughter is not a member she can not use the lounge using your card.

on another note though say she "rented " points from us--so then we would we have to make the ressie in our name or hers--so either way though she would not be able to go to the top--just wondering

Renters do not get any member benefits, they only get the room and room stuff (like laundry access). Renters do not get TOTW.

You make the reservation in the name of the persons staying in the villa. If you are not there, your name is not on the reservation. A good place to watch the fireworks is from the bridge that connects BTL with CR. Or even from the parking lot at BLT.

And even if you made it in your name to match the DVC member card, their IDs would not match.
