If you want to have all your contracts under 1 UY, You would get June 2010 as a UY at BLT. You could make a reservation in 2009 borrowing your June 2010 points.

I am pretty sure you would get June 2009 use year points and they just won't be able to be used until September 2009.

Well at $112.00 I would have to think pretty hard about adding on if we weren't moving to the are, but since we are moving and have 300 pts. at SSR and not sure if we will use the all each year I will just take my chances at & months for a short stay.

You may recieve developer points at another resort in compensation, but if BLT doesn't open until Sep. 2009, you can not have points before that date. That is the exact situation going on at AKV Kidani right now.

The current offer does not include any developer points. They will be selling 09 BLT points for any use year month in 09 (meaning any beginning with Feb). They can do that because those points do not expire before resort opens. You just won't be able to use them for any trip (anywhere) that begins before Sep 09.

Kidani was no different. It opens in May 09. They were selling points for as early as Aug 08 that cannot be used until May 09; they were selling Dec 08 points as recently as a couple weeks ago, although those may now be gone.

Wait, you've got it all wrong!!! They've offered an incentive!!!
For the first 1000 families to purchase 160 points or more, you will get a plaque with your name on it in/on a fountain. I think my guide said the fountain was facing the lake... however, she cut out for that one or two words.

Just think, your name on a fountain... who wouldn't buy at BLT just to get their name on a fountain????

Well we were excited to buy before the "incentive" of the name on the fountain. That really had no bearing for our purchase. But I have to say that I am surprised, that for my kids, the name on the fountain seems to be overshadowing things like being right next door to MK and the monorail (or monoboat as my 3 yr old calls it). You just never know with kids! They have me saying, "HELLO, mommy can bring a pad of post-it's and put our name all over WDW!!! "
