SO i had a blood blister on my toe that was causing pain to the point where I had to take off my shoe. It was one little black dot. Well I took a pin and poped it and it feels better but is still black. Should I be worried (Ive never had a blood blister)?

No. That's probably a plug of dried blood or something equally gross. I once stepped on a nail while staining the my parents' pool deck. I was wearing flip flops so the nail went all the way through the bottom of the shoe, but didn't puncture the skin. However, I almost immediately had a purplish circle on the bottom of my foot that was about the size of a pencil eraser. I was worried and it hurt like the devil, but that stopped. The purple blob turned black in a few days and stayed there for a few months (?) before eventually working its way out of the skin (gack) and falling off. I had a little perfectly circular dent in the bottom of my foot. BEYOND gross. :crazy2:

Yes, that is just the leftover clot... if you play with it, you can usually pick it off... I can't help myself whenever I have a blood blister... :headache:

ok good, its normal then. I poped mine cause it was hurting so bad that I couldnt get my sock on without pain.
