How is the Ski Patrol area at Blizzard Beach for 8-10 year olds? Mine aren't into the "thrill" slides, etc and thought that this area would be good for them

It is GREAT! We were there just over a week ago. My kids are younger, but the 5 year old is quite adventuresome, so we wondered over. There is a great area where the kids use a rope net to walk across the water on "ice bergs", there is a pulley area where you hang above the water trying to hold on until you hit a water cannon, there is a fun little tube ride and to the left there are calm "waterslides". Very fun, very well watched by life gaurds. We were very pleased!

Have a great time!

We just went in March, with our boys, 7 and 10. They loved this area!

It was great, I even sat and relaxed!

If you are not adventurous there are still lots of fun slides at BB. My youngest doesn't like the big ones, but he loved the family raft ride, and the shorter runs. The wave pool was a big hit too.

What a great place...have fun!

My boys loved this area. They were bummed when they got too tall for the t-bar ride. They would cross the ice floes untilthey had blistered palms! I would bring a book and keep that as my quiet time for the day.

Thanks everyone - I have been going back and forth on whether to go to BB or TL but after reading a ton of stuff yesterday, it seems that the ski patrol area of BB with some of the other calmer areas would be great for my kids that are a little timid of the big slides, they won't even go on the one at stormalong bay
