Blizzard Beach

We love Typhoon Lagoon and have never been to Blizzard Beach, but we're having to move our trip back to November and Blizzard Beach will be the only water park open.
We're older and don't do all the slides but love the creek and wave pool. Will we like Blizzard Beach? Also, what type of music do they play?
We're from Michigan and my husband hates cold weather and dislikes the idea of a water park with a winter theme.

Also, is the mini golf there any good???

In my opinion,
-Blizzard beach has overall better slides.
-Typhoon Lagoon has better wave pool. (the waves at Blizzard beach are not like the waves at Typhoon Lagoon)
-Blizzard Beach has a longer lazy river.
-I have no idea the music that is played at Blizzard beach.

I'm from Ohio. I hate winter. Blizzard Beach is fun though I prefer Typhoon Lagoon. My kids prefer BB. I just ignore the winter theming and enjoy the water park with my kiddos. The wave pool at BB is much calmer! I imagine you will both enjoy relaxing in the Cross Country Creek lazy river.

I recall nothing about the music so it mustn't be too exciting lol.

The Winter Summerland golf is nicely themed, we enjoy playing there.

The golf is fun, but they do play lots of Christmas music there, as Santa has a big part in the theme of the course. I don't remember much music at BB except maybe by the gift shops. I love the "snow" lift that takes you to the top of the big mountain where the slides are. It sure beats climbing stairs! The slides at BB are way longer than those at TL (since you go up higher to get to them). I think the slides are better at BB in my opinion.

I like both water parks but feel that Blizzard Beach is better. TL has a better wave pool but BB has better everything else and a better lay out. The music, if I remember it correctly, is old music from various artists with themes of winter in the lyrics.
