I have tentatively planned to head to Blizzard Beach one day of our stay (1/31-2/7) if weather permits.
Our daughters are 4 and 1. Will I be able to take the 4 year old on some of the slides? (Clearly not the ones that you have to be 48 inches to ride) Alot of the rides dont mention if its ok to ride with a child or not. Id feel comfortable riding with her but not just being like, See ya at the bottom, you know?
What about the cross country creek ride? Can the 1 year old hop in the raft with us or no?

Anything else I need to know about Blizzard Beach with small children? Thanks.

Never gone with small children, but you shouldn't have a problem.

There's "Tike's Peak" for younger kids, and although I've only seen it in passing, your 4-year old should find some slides there.

As for the cross-country creek... I have seen parents take their babies, who look pretty young, on, keeping them on their laps.

Try going to:

Hope I was of some help!

as long as the 1 yr old can sit up next to you, or on your lap, in the raft, you shouldn't have a problem on the family raft ride. I've also seen babies on the lazy river tube ride. Your 4 yr old is also old enough for the Ski Patrol area. The water's not deep, except for the zip line, and you can either get in the water with him or watch from the side for most of the kid's stuff. Your little one will love Tike's Peak. Have fun!

Frincy,

For what it's worth, I would not take small children to the water parks. They will have just as much fun splashing around the resort pool.

Hi,

I went in 2005 with my 1 year old & 2 & 1/2 year old & had a really good time.

DH & I took one a piece on the lazy river & the photographer got a great photo of the 4 of us.

I thought it was fab. Taking them again this May & am hoping my now 4 year old can do some of the slides (he did some of the tiny ones when we last went).

Hope you have a great time

Kate

My 2.5 YO went on every slide except for summit plummit and slush gusher. I was shocked at how many things she was able to ride. We had to drag her off the toboggan racers screaming because did not want to get off. Snow Stormers was crazy wild, but she even loved that one! I assumed we would be stuck over in the kiddie area all day, but we only spent a few minutes there.

Tikes peak is amazing. My girls were 3 when we took them and they had a blast going down the kids waterslides. They have slides where they can sit in the tubes as well as ones without. My kids had an amazing time there and we are going back this next trip. Honestly we did not even leave the Tikes Peak area.
