Just wondering how kid friendly Blizzard Beach is. My DD4 loves the water and I want to make sure she can do things.

Also, I have old park hoppers that I am giving to my parents when we go in July. Can I use the extras for Blizzzard Beach? There are no fingerprints attached to them (I bought them before that) but I dont want to attach mine in April at BB and then they can't use them in July. Basically I am asking if I can use them and do I have to scan my fingers at BB?

I'm a little confused by your questions but will try to answer them as I read them.

1. Blizzard beach is a nice water park. There are plenty of kid's activities for
them to do. I would personally choose Typhoon Lagoon over BB, but it BB
is the only one open, rest assured there is plenty for the kids to do.

2. All Disney parks use the Finger Tag system. The only one's exempt from
this rule are children's annual passes.

Are your original tickets include the water parks? If they do, you can use them and did you get the no expiration? If so, I would suggest calling CS and inquiring. I assume you're asking that if you bought the plus pass or whatever it was called when you bought it, that it included both water parks and regular parks. So if you used just the water park portion you should have park passes left...is this right?

In any event, my best advice would be to call CS and ask.

We always go to TL, but this past time we went to BB. My DD4 LOVED it! She stayed in the tykes peak area and there was a shallow pool with foam on the bottom and fountains. There is also an inner tube slide that she went down and 3 different water slides, and a little play area with short little slides. Each of the slides emptied out into shallow water, so she was not afraid at all. The inner tube ride did empty out into deeper water but it had 3 lifeguards standing at the bottom of the slide and they would catch her as she came off the tube and helped her out of the pool. I would go back to BB again.

yes...my tix have the extras on them. The problem is my parents will never use the extras so I wanted to use them (PI and BB). If that is not allowed, then obviously I am not even going to try. Don't want to lose my tix!

We just went to BB this past weekend with my 3 year old dd. I think BB is more kid-friendly than TL. More kids slides and the family raft ride is much longer and more fun at BB. I do like the setting/decor at TL better, but my dd has more to do at BB. Make sure to take her to the "pre-teen" area at BB. They have a raft ride that is a little faster than the one in Tykes Peak and my dd loved it!

My kids also preferred BB to TL. BB has two separate kids areas, Tike's Peak, for the little ones, and Ski Patrol Training Camp for older kids. Having the Ski Patrol area kept the older kids out of the little kids area, so they weren't being run over and splashed/sprayed mercilessly by older kids, the way they were at TL's kiddie area. Depending on the child, a 4yo could prefer either area. Depending on how adventurous she is, she might be able to go on several of the tamer "everybody" slides as well (like Toboggan Racers), and would probably enjoy bobbing up and down in the wave pool.

The family raft ride is great at BB, and my kids even just enjoyed riding the chair lift to get up to the start of it. My kids also love just sitting and playing in the sand, and there is plenty of it at BB. Be sure to bring some sand toys, unless you'd prefer to pay $10.00 when you're there, for a small collection of toys in a Mickey shaped basket.

Have fun!
