We only have time to do one water park when we go in a couple of weeks. We've done Typhoon Lagoon which we loved but would like to try another. What do people think? BB or WnW? I have heard that BB is too much concrete and WnW less entertaining? Your views would be appreciated?
Thanks:confused3

I would do TL again, 2nd choice BB, last choice WnW, it was ok but just prefer the Disney Waterparks.

I found wet n wild was mainly concrete. BB far better in my opinion. Also WnW tended to have more older teenagers.

We'd chose a Disney water park everytime... so BB for us!!

It's a Disney Water Park every time for us - our family prefers TL, but if you want to do something new, BB would be the best bet.

Wet 'n' Wild definitely caters more to the 'teenage' market, with a large selection of extreme and thrill water rides, with very few slower rides. The layout and theming is not very nice either - it is mostly concrete, and to me, looks like it's been mistakenly placed on I-Drive because it looks so out of place - a nice water park in the middle of a concrete jungle, with concrete all around. :rotfl:

The Disney parks have a much better range of rides, from slow to extreme, although I would say that BB has a few extra thrill/extreme rides compared to TL, but still a mix to cater for the entire family. And from looks alone (don't have kids, so never tested them), the kids areas in the Disney parks look soooo much better than the WnW one!

I would go for Blizzard Beach too, however cannot wait for Aquatica to open next year as I really think there is a need for a new water park now.
Some aspects of BB & TL are looking a bit tired now, we find the kiddie areas especially could do with some new features.

I wouldn't say W&W is less entertaining, just different.
There's no doubt it lacks the theming of Disney and is definitely showing its age but the rides are more thrill based than BB.

We gave W&W a miss this year even though we had it on the 5 park ticket and paid extra for a day at BB.

It basically depends on what you want for the day.

Blizzard Beach-for me, a little landscaping goes a long way.

When queuing on some of the Wet and Wild rides, you can see (and hear) the traffic jams on I Drive which is nowhere near as nice as wandering through the paths and trees of Blizzard Beach.

Typhoon Lagoon is my favourite but my kids prefer Blizzard Beach.:)

Ive only driven past WnW but it looked like a concrete jungle! BB is nice, loads of water rides there, the walk to the top of them tho can be a bit of a killer!!

Typhoon Lagoon is now our family favourite, but when the kids were smaller (when they were under 12) it was a 50/50 split between TL & BB. The family raft ride at BB is (Teamboat springs I think it's called). We weren't impressed with W&W-you have to pay extra for 'tubes' which I think is a cheek - especially as they were 'stolen' whilst I dozed on a sunbed.:rolleyes1

If you want a change from TL go to BB not W&W

My vote is for BB:thumbsup2

I like the theming of this one & the music they play! Just goes to show about taste eh?

I have only been to TL twice, before that we always went to either Wet and Wild or Water Mania. We do love the Disney parks best though I think, the theming and the atmosphere just can't be beaten!

Depends what you want. DBF and I love Wet n Wild because the slides are wilder and they have more (I think) so I can live without the Disney theming for one day.

Thanks everyone, I think BB is winning at the moment!! I loved TL but think I'd love to see my DH have a go on Summit Plummet :lmao:

Disney everythime. WW changing rooms were just awful. Also the rides just felt dangerous. Just climbing uo the stairs to them didn't feel safe. Saying that, I think kids wouldn't notice and would love it anyway.

A Disney waterpark for us everyt ime. We LOVED Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. i have to say though we WILL be trying Aquatica when we next get to go to Orlando! :)

Hi from Orlando.
We spent tuesday at bb and we loved it!
I love TL so was a bit sceptical as I thought there was less therefor our pre-schoolers but our eldest got on lots. DH took her on lots whilst little un napped, shes about 42 inches. The teamboat springs family raft is fab it goes on for ages...
We were contemplating Busch today but have decided to give it up this trip in favour of another waterpark day as they get so much from the water parks.....
