Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon??

Just wondering which do you prefer... Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon?? We will only be able to do one on our upcoming trip and cant decide..

I didn't vote because it's such a toss up. DD (11) prefers TL because she loves playing in the wave pool all day. I love BB because of the slides. I would probably say TL because of the new slides and shark reef. All that plus the awesome wave pool...I guess I'll vote for TL now.

I like BB more, but it is sort of like asking whether you prefer Coke or Pepsi

BB for now, but Typhoon Lagoon has some new slides and is probably comparable or even better (due to the wave pool).

I always was the biggest fan of BB. It was my favorite b/c of the neat themeing, ski lifts, etc.

BUT now Typhoon Lagoon is my favorite b/c of Crusher Gusher! I also think TL's wave pool and snorkling w/the sharks are fun.

I voted for BB only because TL will be closed for rehab during our upcoming trip. We have never visited either water park.

We like Typhoon Lagoon. We aren't into all the big rides so TL offers more of what we like. Swimming with the sharks and the lazy river are probably our favorites.

Typhoon Lagoon-
The longer lazy river, the sand, the wave pool-though we needed to go out above our head to ride the waves rather than just be tumbled,so it was a little more tiring.
It also seemed like more foliage and shade though we still saw plenty of sunburnt people.

Can someone please post a synopsis of the new slides at Typhoon Lagoon? Obviously, I have not gotten to ride it yet!
