Anyone have any luck booking free dining after November 18th? We can't check in until the 20th, and I'm hoping to get lucky and either the dates will be changed to include the 20th, or that I could get REALLY lucky and that there will be SOME agent that will make an exception and allow the reservation with free dining... :rolleyes1 Anyone ever have this happen before? :confused3

At this point I'd say no, the dates are pretty well set. Don't feel bad, I'll be there Oct 9th-17th and again Dec 4th-12th. I go every year during free dining and somehow this year I missed it, by just a few days either way for not one, but both trips. This is the first time this has ever happened. I'll be paying for the DDP for the Oct trip and for the DxDDP for the Dec trip. Oh well, I used the AP discount instead for both trips, so it sort of evens out.

The CMs are not able to make exceptions. The computer wouldn't let them, plus they'd get into all kinds of trouble even if they could. You know someone would post it on a site like this and everyone would be calling demanding the same thing. It'd be a PR nightmare.

It would be a terrible way for someone to lose their job....seriously, the dates are blocked out for a reason. Promos like free dining are done to book rooms; if they are filled to capacity, like Thanksgiving week, then no reason to offer free dining.

Yes, you are right... I didn't even consider the risk of losing their job. Thanks for the input. I was just wishful thinking, not looking at the whole picture.:guilty:
