Festival of Arts 2026

What is a quest book?? Will be there next week.
They are the paper flyers that they are handing out to do 2 Lorcana Quests for cards. They are being handed out on the bridge to World Showcase. In them there will be a scavenger hunt and stickers to complete for a promo card (Rapunzel), and it will also show you 4 Lorcana cards you need to get for a different promo card (Donald), and a free pack of booster cards that may have some of the cards you need, or you trade with other guests to complete the set you need. Once you have completed the scavenger hunt and got the 4 cards you need, you show a CM either in the Lounge in the Morocco pavilion, or somewhere in the Odyssey I believe, and you'll get your 2 promo cards. That is all free. (You can also do either/or if you don't want to do both).

The 3rd promo card (Stitch) you have to buy a Lorcana Trove (50 bucks) and then you get the promo card for free.

I'm not there, but following livestreams/posts. For Lorcana fans it appears they are using the Archazia's Island set for the collection quest, and for Stitch promo you have to buy an Archazia's Island Trove at 50 bucks.

ETA: Ok, so I've seen 2 flyers for Lorcana collection so far, both Archazia's Island, the first four cards I saw: The Prince Vigilant Suitor, Perla Nimble Seamstress, Tanana Tribal Elder, and Toby Dogged Companion. The second set I saw: Helga Sinclair Tough as Nails, Jebidiah Farnsworth Expedition Cook, Toulouse Artistic Kitten, and Belle Apprentice Inventor. Just saw a 3rd set: Penny Bolt's Person, Kakamora Band of Pirates, Thunderbolt Wonder Dog, and Robin Hood Eye for Detail. UPDATE: So, what I've read is there is something like 28 variations of sets of 4; all Archazia's Island Commons or Uncommons
Thank you so so much!
Yes, we got here too late and missed getting the Lorcana quest. Son’s bummed. We’ll come back on a weekday.
This is my fear, would be hugely disappointing to my kid, and we usually tour the parks on West Coast time…planning to drag us all out of bed early, but we also need to rope drop Tony Baxter… and we are only there 3 days 😬
I've seen reports that there were indeed multiple people hovering around, collecting as many quest books as they could. So, it's possible they won't run out as soon other days that are less busy. I won't be there til Monday, so I'm hoping at least Tuesday may not be so busy.
I would not bet on sell out time shifting later because there will be some one and done folks, but others who are now learning of “free Disney stuff” and they will start rushing to do it in the mornings… also, when it was at DCA, they let people loop, so collectors and flippers just kept circling back.

The quest book has 2 different quests to do. One is finding the giant cards and placing a stamp in the book where you find them. The other is 4 cards you need to trade for. There are 20 different combinations of card quests according to a cm I talked to. To get those cards, you get a pack of cards with the quest book. If you’re lucky you’ll get a card you need. Otherwise you have to trade for it with other guests and the trade board.

Once you finish both quests you take the quest book and the 4 cards you need to Morocco or the other redemption place and you’ll get 2 free promo cards.

Aah I'm so excited for the Lorcana quest! I don't play but I collect the cards cause the art is gorgeous, so I have a bunch of extra cards from the earlier sets that I'm going to bring with me just to give away. If you're there this week and want them, message me and we can meet up and give them to you! :) (they're heavy so I probably won't have them with me all day every day) I also brought some of my rarer cards for trades...can't wait! We take off tomorrow, crossing fingers all goes smoothly.

Where and what time do I get a quest book? We are RDing Epcot next Thursday and PHing Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I am fascinated and don't want to miss out 😊

Edit: Nevermind, look what I found: Lorcana Quest

Edit: You might know I've been a sporadic DisBoard visitor for 21+ years and I learn new Disney stuff all the time! Thanks friends✌️

What a fun opening day at the festival! I feel like I definitely took full advantage of all the offerings - the only rides I made it on were Guardians, Test Track (for the first time! So fun!), and Soarin’ - but I think I saw all or most of the festival offerings. I adored the Broadway exhibit in Commmunicore hall as a former theater technician.

Now for food and drink reviews! I’ll leave the pictures to the bloggers but here are my rankings from best to worst:

Delish! (best, made me do a happy dance)
- Wild mushroom risotto - creamy and zesty with a nice umami flavor from the mushrooms
- Steamed wagyu bun - sweet, savory, warm happiness in a soft bun

Yum (good to fine, enjoyed but wasn’t wowed)
- Popcorn, popcorn chicken and waffle - a decent portion, not too overwhelmingly sweet
- PEI mussels (only because of the logistical difficulty eating them)
- Nitro oatmeal stout - not trying to be anything except a good solid stout which I appreciated!
- softshell crab slider - I was brave and tried this and I’m glad! The fruity flavors were not overpowering
- Sushi donut - this almost went in “meh” but was saved because I really love sushi. It’s cute but not really groundbreaking.

Meh
- enchanted rose mousse - gorgeous but not the rich dark chocolate flavor I hoped for
- Caramel Cookie Imperial stout - syrupy sweet

Awful
- Port of Blue stout. Tasted like one of those blue gummy sharks but a cold fizzy beer? I was glad I only got the 6 oz pour. Awful

I think I would enjoy sweet caramel cookie beer. My favorite festival drinks are usually the crazy sweet Keel Farms ones.

Trying to decide if I want to warn my husband about this or if I want to enjoy his surprise.

I only had the red wine braised short rib from Pastoral Palate and the peppercorn crusted strip loin from The Artists Table. Both were decent. I think the potato gratin cake thing that came with the strip loin would have worked better with the short rib but neither accompaniments were bad.

The only thing I noticed was at the Artists Table, the person playing the strip loin, which was the most popular dish, was placing the components on the plate in slow motion with no sense of urgency. This was one of the longest lines there. I used my stopwatch just to see and it was 36 minutes.
