If you are interested in BF coupons for OfficeMax, go to www.officemax.com/bonus and enter your zip code and email address. They will put together coupons that will be good in your area. There isn't much in the way of coupons for my area, but there might be something useful for others.

Yes, Target most certainly does offer in-home delivery/setup at many different price points (depending upon the service you need).

If you are buying electronics in the local Target store, these services are sold much like prepaid cards (and you'll find them hanging on a special pegboard display).

SPECIAL HOLIDAY BUDGET TIP: If you are wanting to calibrate your HDTV to get a more professional look, there are two easy, low-cost ways to do so.

Nearly all Pixar Blu-ray movies have an HDTV calibration program on the disc (just play the disc and follow the instructions) -- it's usually on the same disc with the other special features. You will need a Blu-ray player with an HDMI cable to make this work.

Also, for HDTV subscribers, HDNet runs a special test pattern where you can also calibrate your HDTV -- it runs every Saturday morning at 6:30 a.m. EST (a DVR is recommended so you don't have to wake-up too early on the Saturday following Black Friday).

Thank you!

Thats the way it looks atm...They are doing two sales. Seems like electronics will go on sale at 5am and most the rest at Midnight. I like that idea since last year I waited in line for a TV and PS3 and missed all the good movies for sale.

If you give ppl money they will generally do anything you ask of them. Everything has a price. :)

But yes Best Buy does do in home setups and I believe I saw yest that Target does as well. So good bet most ppl do. However I think a Google search of what your wanting to do would be better...Unless you are thinking of mounting a TV then you should get it professionally done.

Generally wifi is very easy to connect to. You rly don't need anyones help. Depending on the unit you will likely just go into setup and it will auto detect the wifi networks around you. If you have a pw on your network then it will ask you to put in your password and then itll automatically save and connect to that network.

Edit to finish question: As for the DvD player for netflix....Tbh I don't believe they have them. You would need a Blu-Ray player, gaming system, or roku box.(Someone can correct me if I am wrong but I haven't seen one able to do that). Roku boxes stream but do not play dvds. I think your best bet if you can get ahold of it would be the one from Walmart. Its a Magnavox Blu_ray with built in WiFi that streams Netflix for $69 on Black Friday. Second best deal is the Insignia from Best Buy for $89.

Whether you would need HDMI cable or not depends on what TV you are hooking it to. Are you using it for flatscreen HD tvs or the old Coax/Audio Vid Tube TVs? Also wanted to let ya know if you need HDMI atm I just picked up a two pack for $1.99 in case I ever need them - http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2394329

Link to info above.

Thank you very much! This has really helped!!! I am hoping to get 2 flat screen TV's from walmart on bf morning along with the Magnavox dvd player... and I'd really like a lap top too!!! I know I'm asking for a lot... I'll be praying to get everthing!!! I'm going to get the HDMI cables now just in case that way I'll have everything I should need. Thanks again!!!

Do you know any teens? My sister is the same way and was waiting for my DH to get a day off to come over and do it for her. Meanwhile a buddy of my nephews showed up and had it hooked up for her in an hour.

This is a very good idea. I may be able to find a teenager somewhere that could use a few bucks! :lmao:

I am very torn as to which gaming system to get my 3 1/2 year old. I was really leaning toward the Leapster Explorer, but now that I see the Leapster 2 is on sale on bf for $25.00 I'm wondering. I don't want to get it just b/c it's cheaper. I want to get what I think she will get the most use out of. I know she wants something that is similar to her older brother's ds... I thought the explorer looked more alike b/c of the writing pen and all. What do you guys think?

My (almost) 5yr olds love their Leapster 2s. I had thought of upgrading to the Explorer but the games aren't compatible. $25 is a great price but if I were just getting them now I'd get the Explorer just because the technology changes so fast. If you think she'll out grow it fairly quick then I'd get the Leapster 2 and then move on to the next thing in a year or so.

Good luck on that! Some rly good deals on those though. The Magnavox is a Blu-Ray just to be clear. :)

I have one of those TVs that I bought last year currently in my room. Not bad TVs but keep your receipt for the warranty. Unfortunately I lost mine and need it. O well, this year the receipts are going in my safe.

If anyone is looking to purchase tag/tag jr books Target will have them in their 4 day sale for $9.99 each and they are buy one get one free. There is a $5.00 off coupon that you can print. I found link off of another site. YOu take a quick virtual test drive of a chevy car and fill out form and then can print the coupon twice. So if your store will let you use both coupons the books will be free if not then you can get two tag books for $4.99. I found the link in the Target Forum on hotcouponworld.

BJ's also has a super set of tag with 12 books for $59.99 and you can print a $10 off coupon from their site or if you are a member, it came in the November mailing!! Your deal sounds good too!!:cheer2:

@ suzcruz - Toys R us will open at 10:00 pm and Wal-Mart's first set of door busters begin at 12:00 midnight.

The only thing I need is an ipod touch. From what I've seen listed, Wallmart and TRU have the best deal ($50 gift cards). I would prefer a TRU gift card but I have a feeling that Wallmart will probably have more in stock that TRU. Do you guys think I am wrong? I hope so. Anyone care to give me a strategy (re what time to get to the store) for making sure I get one at TRU.

Punkin

I the only thing I need is an ipod touch also. From my BF experience in the past years I avoid TRU like the plague:rotfl2:. Usually the line to get in the store is absurdley long, then once you get your items (especially if you are shopping by yoursef) the line inside is just as long as the line outside:confused3 and the cashiers seem to be not awake. Takes up too much valuable shopping time to shop at TRU for me.

Any one in the know or on rumor patrol for the Apple store? I'm curious if the deals will be close to what they were last year (25% off iMac's, 30% off iPod's, etc.). Any word on the street? :rolleyes1

Thanks,
Heather

I want to know also. I'm getting my Marine Corps son an iPod classic; his was stolen. I found a deal at the Target Store, which starts Sun., Nov. 21 -- $249.99 w/$25 Target gift card. But, I'd rather get one from Apple so it can be engraved free and would LOVE a sale.

I just found out that it's likely to be quite cold here on Black Friday. I'm not sure about standing outside in the freezing weather....
